That's exactly what I did, I got rid of all the weaves and went to a pixy cut in the dead of winter and I love it, waaaay less expensive, easy to maintain and it's so cute 😘😘😘

I've always been a "long hair girl" (mid-back to waist), but unfortunately I had a great deal of damage from years of relaxers and improper care from myself and so-called stylists who did more harm than good. My mom was a stylist and my personal stylist, but when she passed away some time ago, I started letting others do my hair and the hair loss began.
Thankfully, I now have someone who knows how to care for my hair. She's a great stylists who tells you how to care for you hair when you're not able to visit her. In October of 2018, I couldn't take it anymore (extreme breakage and shedding) and finally decided to get my hair cut and was prepared for a very short cut.
On Halloween, she gave me a fairly short pixie cut. She told me that I should start to see length retention right away. She was right. After two and a half months, my natural loose wave pattern is saying "Hello, stranger! Long time so see!" 😀
It's grown quite a bit and now I don't know how to manage the back as well as when it was shorter, so I need to make another appointment. Until then, your video has shown me how to mold my hair in the way she explained it, and also how to get the front edges to have those adorable swirls. I'll have to practice, but I hope to get it down like my stylist and like you did. 🙂
With the video, I can go back as I'm working with my hair and see what's what, step by step.
