I really enjoy seaworld orlando. It's an underrated park in the crowded orlando market with room for improvement and a lot of potential. Building the flying theater is a huge step in the right direction. I feel the same about busch gardens tampa. While I love the coaster lineup, they could do so much more like improving the food quality.
Hell, BGT could also retrofit their existing simulator ride with this new dual loading flying theater style. It would benifit the park by having an indoor attraction, and it could be a video flying above the African plains, which the park has a whole area that attempts to replicate like literally right there next to the attraction.
I think their coaster lineup is nearly at destination park levels, but with Hagrids and Velocicoaster just down the road I do think they need one ultra-elite coaster to sit in the top tier with Mako. They currently have a lot of A tier rides, so something like a Mack extreme spinner, ground-up rmc, intamin swing launch like pantheon, or large scale GCI would help to solidify this as the best coaster collection in Orlando
Yeah I think they’ll try to improve the park more. But besides the food that definitely needs an upgrade, I think the shows and festivals should also be expanded upon. Silver Dollar City and Dollywood basically have some type of festival year round. This keeps guests coming back multiple times throughout the year.
Yes, they definitely need to up their food game, especially in the crowded orlando market. They do have food festivals, but it can' compare to their competition. The in park restaurants mainly offer standard amusement park food and lack any kind of signature dish
Yes, definitely need to up there game with food. I LOVE food, so much that I eat escargot’s (snails). I had a dolphin shaped pretzel when I went, and it was not that great.
I loved seaworld Orlando. I can't wait to return next vacation. It was clean, the staff was friendly and the rides are amazing. I also spent a day at Discovery cove and it was beautiful.
I always have a great time at SeaWorld and a resort would be great, my main holdback is that SeaWorld tends to take shortcuts when it comes to service and staffing - I think outsourcing the hotel operations in the first few years would be necessary for it to succeed.
How about this, I'm not trying to compare SeaWorld to those other parks in the area. It is different and i think that is a good thing. I consistently enjoy myself more at SeaWorld and Busch Gardens because the vibe is more chill and not packed to the gills.
The problem with the United Parks is the predatory investment firm that owns it currently. They need to be split up and/or sold to another higher caliber owner that actually *likes* theme parks.
yooo that pyramid is hype bro, really helps us visualize the tiers haha I’m really hoping the lower tier amusement parks really see the value in investing in at least ONE highly themed ride say a “Hagrid’s” prototype level themed ride. This would attract WAY more people. But as a lot of these parks stand, it’s just not worth it for me to travel state lines to ride just any other rollercoaster, unless you’re like cedar point or something like that, maybe even bg tampa for iron gwazi.
As a local Orlando park visitor I would say the food for all the Orlando parks are just ok. Maybe Universal has better food then Disney. But now Disneyland that I recently visited this Oct wins the food award for sure! And then 2 years ago I visited Kinds Dominion in VA and that park has very good food.
I think Seaworld has the thrill of mega coasters on lock but yeah they can definitely level up by themeing heavy and adding quality food and a resort, while still sticking the the nature of the park name it self, “Seaworld”! . . . Maybe they can lease the rights to some aquatic related character rides like “ AquaMan”, “little mermaid”, etc. Also keep the importance of the animals they have there. It’s a lot they can do just glad to see they’re exploring options!
SeaWorld needs to invest more in shows! Not only the return of seasonal animal shows, as it varies the routine of the animals and makes them more engaged, but theater shows, street shows, performers and mascots, more parades like the 60th anniversary show, and even a nightly drone/projection show could be a good draw for the guests! AND ALSO, refurb journey to atlantis and add theming to ALL attractions! (shipwreck theming for Shark Encounter, Mako; Glacier theme for Wild Arctic, Ice Breaker and Shamu Stadium/Dine; expand the waterfront area) and separate the park by realms, as it was previously established by the "Seas" that SeaWorld Orlando had! and most importantly, upgrade the animal exhibits!!! Add wave machines, rockwork, live fish, hire more educators, plan exclusively educational animal shows like "Killer Whales: Up Close" along with the daily presentations, add more chances for guests to learn about the rescue efforts SW has... anyway, I have a LONNNG list of how SeaWorld could improve their Orlando park
@@TheCoasterJosh, SeaWorld only has to do 5 things to put the park back to fame: 1: Remove the animals 2: Add new rides 3: Retheme rides and give new trains from Vekoma for Dragon Mountain 4: Add a mode of transportation 5: Retheme the area of the kids rides to Sesame Street
They really need to hire people who care about their job. I have been there multiple times and right in front of all the customers they will be dissing SeaWorld. One time we walked to the popcorn concession and the girl was sitting in front talking to another person there and literally rolled her eyes cuz she had to get up and do her job. They need to focus more on the staff just like Disney and Universal, yes there will always be that person who shows their disdain for their job, but for the most part they are in character and we believe they love where they work.
I do think a hotel is coming I remember hearing this some time back for Seaworld San Diego but I am not sure if it could work but I could see Seaworld Orlando, Seaworld San Antonio, and both Brush Gardens parks
Seaworld orlando has multiple resort hotels, they aren't owned by seaworld but they are located very close and associated with the park. I've stayed at the nicest one of these and it was lovley. I don't think the hotels will suddently make seaworld a destination, more than it is now
Sea World Entertainment, now called United Parks have been on a downward trajectory in aesthetics, food, operations etc..since about 2018. They were in financial trouble and nearly sold to Merlin and started talking about cuts, Well they did a lot of cuts in things and the results of that take time to show in the guest experience and look of the parks. They are still putting a lot in to rides, but all the other stuff that they were really good at has suffered. They are producing record financials, but it will see if that lasts long term. I'm not the only one that thinks things aren't as good as they once were, overheard many GP park goers at their parks say the same thing.
The issue is they won’t improve the park with food and operations… they simply don’t care until new management comes in! Why are they running skeleton crews and closing rides early still?? Too many bad habits there.
I think SeaWorld is a good park but parking needs an update, and it has a hood coaster collection but parking is always a tragic jam at the end of the day.
The pyramid is pretty far off in some ways, just my opinion. Cedar Point is probably above Dollywood/SDC and below the top tier as they are a multi day, destination resort park with 5 different park owned places to stay and a different feel than any other park that isnt unibersal or disney. Kings island isn't a destination park as their draw has been shrinking from regional to overwhelmingly locals.
Valid point. The main idea I wanted to get across was as you move up the broader the demographic the park can attract. It’s a mix of target demographic and park quality. I think the Dollywood/SDC quality is significantly higher than Cedar point, but I can see where you are coming from. Thanks for watching.
@@TheCoasterJosh wholeheartedly agree with you on quality and demographic/population to pull from, I see what you mean. SDC has such a bright and exciting future. Heck, so do some legacy SIX parks. Competition could drive a lot of great things for the industry.
Seaworld needs to demolish the halloween entrance buildings and replace it with year round attractions. It sits unutililized for 10 months out of the year.
I disagree with you my family and I took a break from Disney and Universal and spent a week at SeaWorld. We did. Aquatica and one of the best parks I have ever been to Discovery cove plus of course Sea world
Seaworld is rapidly going downhill, they need saving fast. Also they announced their hotels almost a year ago and still no updates and construction has not started yet

Imagine waking up to the sight of Mako testing right outside your window from the top floor 😳

Imagine if SeaWorld acquires some parks like Marineland in Niagara Falls.
That park is a total disaster. If they acquire it, they’d be best to bulldoze it.
That park needs a lot of help. I believe eventually it’s getting demolished and the land rezoned, but I’m not positive.

I think that if SWO built a large parking structure, they could use some of the existing parking lot to expand the park by almost double.
They need to completely overhaul Atlantis and make it the world's best water ride. They layout is there

lol Six Flags America at the bottom of the pyramid

What's a "Bisch" Gardens?
@detroitdiezel7856 'Busch'
Six Flags and Cedar are a merged company. Cedar bought Knott’s prior to the merger. SeaWorld and Bush is owned by the same company.
