Theyre like 5 weeks in but, this will probably kill soloq. Soloq will probably just get worse, making it harder to spot talent and for decent players to want to play soloQ at all. Theres also absolutely no proof something like this makes a region better. The players will also most likely say its better than soloq but not as high level as u may think. Its not close to stage or even scrim level.

Rito Games, small indie company programmers at work. Cait's E, like a lot of dash abilities, doesn't technically move your character's position until it completes. So Olleh connected with where Cait was at the start of her E cast and even though Cait is already moving backwards, according to the code she hasn't moved yet and can still be hit by the Leona E even though visually Sven dodged the ability.
TLDR; the hitbox doesn't move with the animation of the character, it teleports from start to finish only after the cast time completes.
Huh? For dashes the hitbox lags behind but it doesn't remain in place. This is most clearly seen when using abilties that specifically interrupt dashes like ahri's charm or a Janna tornado on champs such as lb, jax, trust, kai'sa, etc who have longer-ranged dashes. I don't know for sure but I'm guessing the case for vayne comes down to the short range of her dash and cait has a considerable amount of cast time before her dash intiates.
I mean you can try to aim your ability at their starting location after the dashing champion has already begun the dash, but you're going to miss. Interestingly tho just from experience I feel like kindred's dash doesn't seem to suffer as much from this problem as vayne does despite having a similarly short ranged dash.
Edit: errr I should probably clarify that I mean Cait has a cast time for her dash which in general makes it feel pretty clunky. I believe the actual cast time is very small, but usually blinks have a cast time and the dash usually IS the cast time so that's why I made that distinction.
@@rhorantyko7796 Watch at 3:14 at 0.25 speed. Olleh clearly misses where Cait is visually. The only reason it hits is because her hit box doesn't move with the dash.
@@StpMakinMeChangMyNam that's because the hitbox just moves in a straight line at a fixed speed. the animation contorts cait's model, and there's also an extra movement at the end that indicates the animation is faster than the travel. the visuals don't match the hitbox, but it's not true that the hitbox doesn't move at all. what you're talking about applies to blinks, not dashes.

champions queue has got to be the best thing thats ever happened for LCS. better quality matches, better practice, AND better entertainment for the fans. as well as seeing pro players in a scrim type environment so we get to see a new side to them. which is massive for accumilating and retaining fanbase.

ummm no its on all queues i believe lmao. its to sort champs by roles and whats the most played champs in that role last patch gets added or removed. so it changes every patch. we might start seeing karthus in botlane soon.
@@vang-toulee8351 yall tripping, in normal and ranked champ select the options you have are: top, jg, mid, bot and support. What DL has on tournament server is the actual classification of champions, eg: marksmen, bruiser, mage etc
