As an immigrant to this country I will absolutely defend this county with my life even when I have to go against my former homeland. I took an oath to be loyal to this beautiful land and I will always honor my oath.
Wish we had more people such as yourself and less ungrateful indoctrinated college kids. Lol Hopefully they grow out of it. Everyone already knows we have massive problems, but some of us forgot we're all Americans, we can unite when we decide to.
A US veteran here. Invasion of our country has no chance. We are a family here. We fight each other like cats and dogs but when the poo hits the fan we come together. Mainly because we're so mad at you for interrupting our family argument! Lol Peace to you all
May I offer some numbers? There are Approximately 16 million Veterans in USA. There are " active Reserves" and then " inactive reserves" but all can get the call. Here is a bit more. The US Federal Civil Service (4.2 million active and retired) 25 to 30% of the civil service is a veteran. I have seen it done, a civil service employee reservist is the first activated. They get a 3 week notice. How many possible activated??? 1.3 million ...in 3 weeks
How about you secretly immigrate 10-20 million fighting aged men into America (which is literally happening as we speak), having been told and possibly trained to begin secret warfare in America until the moment is sounded where the remaining forces will then begin to attack us....When Americans took AMERICA in the revolution, ONLY 3% of the population of America was involved to overthrow britain. Right now, we are being invaded by illegal immigrants whom we have NO FREAKING CLUE where they are coming from, or who they are .... America could very well be losing WW3 at this very moment.
We are a dysfunctional family and will back each other to fight a common foe. Kind of like, everyone on our planet will continue to fight each other until we're invaded by another planet, then you know...
I just want to say, as a US citizen, I don't know anyone in the comments, I already don't like any of you, and you can all go away as far as I'm concerned. But I see some foreign enemy coming at us, I'm still fighting for you.
The National Guard, ( we call them weekend warriors), is a civilian Army, Navy, Air Force and Marines. They work regular jobs like everyone else but on the weekends train out of their local base. All 50 states have their own National Guard. If you start up a war with us, the National Guard is called up to serve full time. Our military would double in the blink of an eye. Watch who you pick a fight with at work, church, a bar or just driving down the highway, it might be a soldier. Also if a war does start, think about retired soldiers who might be called back up.
You also are overlooking all the autonomous defense craft we have which are currently only seeing use in training exercises. Where one person can remotely control an entire squadron of autonomous aircraft.
We can also call upon the Coast Guard for national defense. Add them to the numbers on the Guard rolls, the inactive reservists who would get called up, and the new volunteers who would materialize, and our military would more than double almost over night. Not to mention the fact that outside the cities, most people have guns and know how to use them.
so fuckin true tho, “We can never invade America,” Japanese Admiral Yamamoto has been quoted as saying. Yamamoto, who attended college in America, explained his logic this way: “There would be a rifle behind every blade of grass.”
@@docjohnson1 Its a commonly quoted Ww2 Quote Quoted by many historical Sites, never said it was a true quote Just said he has been quoted as saying not he did say
People don't realize that the entire US Highway system was actually built with troop movements in mind, not civilian movements. The US can move its military personnel and equipment anywhere in the country with ease
Thats part of it. Beyond the military, American had been pleading for better roads. Eisenhower knew that a highway system would also be a huge factor in building the economy. Then there was also the idea that a highway system would allow citizens to escape a nuclear attack.
The idea of the Interstate highway system was for logistical and troop convoys to, like rail, be able to drive the length of the country without ever seeing a stoplight. If you never had to stop for gas, you could do DC to SF in about 40 hours if you averaged 60 mph. Throw in a few stops and you're still well under 3 days.
America is the typical stereotype of two bothers beating the heck out of each other until someone tries to break it up. Then they beat the heck out of that rude person. Have a short celebration drinking over victory only to start throwing drunken insults at each other again and go right back to fight each other like they were in the start. It's pretty much the embodiment of the old proverb, "Me against my brother, us against our cousin, the three of us against the world."
@@wesleygraham9967or troops. Probably 5 Joes with bolt guns could prevent thousands of troops coming down a highway. Hey! United States Marine Officer here. Just wanted to start off by saying that I appreciate your fascination with my country’s history. I truly enjoyed this video and you earned yourself a subscriber! A little unknown fact, we Marines LOVE the British Royal Marines. When Officers train, there’s been an agreement that British Royal Marines will help train future American Marine Officers and vice versa! So we have a great alliance with you and your military, despite the rough history we’ve had with eachother. Cheers!
I subscribed to for same purpose.. felt like I was finally back in school waiting for my chocolate milk ready to watch another wheeled in history lesson.
And that response is why America is God's country! If for whatever reason Canada's gov betrays the US I would happily take up arms alongside the marines and defend the constitution! I stand on guard, true north strong and free. Love from Canada❤️ God bless America🙏 ps all the cyber, division, immigration, infiltration, and biological are being deployed against you currently. US & Brit history... It's like your old drinking buddy, who you did not initially meet on the best of terms. It's like that Friday after work thing at the bar. Some guy's sitting a few seats away. You say a few words to each other. Have a few too many drinks and all of a sudden, "I don't like the way you look!" "You got somethin' to say?" After a few fists are thrown, you pull yourselves off the floor and one of you ends up buying the other a drink. Several decades later, you two are sitting on your front porch sharing a case of beer.
The guerilla tactics of American civilians that live in the rocky mountains would be devastating for supply lines not to mention once you get over the rocky mountains the civilian retaliation alone would become an immediate embarrassment to the invading force.
I believe that they’ll surely use land, air systems to transport the massive equipment, use those aircraft carriers to make it easier to succeed?..I certainly hope so.🎯🤣👍
But I can answer your question about National guard. Common misconception is that the US is 50 states all under one government, so people think of us as a whole, but actually we are 50 different small countries that all work together under one government. So each individual state has their own military called the national guard. These smaller armies are to protect the individual states and are super important to have to defend us primarily from a corrupt government. But can also be quickly mobilized to work with the US government militaries to defend against terror or national tragedy from mother natures wrath. The US military is allowed to train in the states but they cannot be put into any state without permission from the state first. Otherwise it would be considered an act of war onto the state from our own government.
Normally a bunch of individuals being their own main characters... lord help you if you give us a reason to unite andain the whole country the main character😂😂
My man, it wouldn’t just be those with guns. There is a thing called “Florida Man”. They would be riding meth-ed up alligators with machetes going after anyone invading😂
It's not only the civilians in Texas but the national guard, Texas state guard, law enforcement, and a very well equipped and educated civilian population. We remember the Alamo. Bet on that!
@@christopherhinds7102 this information was right in 2007 when I was in the Navy. They did have the largest Air Force but now the Air Force does have more planes.
I love how a British guy just unintentionally explained the reason why Americans have the 2nd amendment so the American people can defend themselves against domestic AND foreign threats
Yeah, and something people don't always mention, there are over 82 million gun owners in the US, combined they own half of all firearms on the planet (around half a billion in US civilian hands). The combined military of all countries on the planet including the US is 62.6 million personal (2.1 million of those are American), that's both Active and Reserve. Just our gun owning civilians outnumber all militaries combined by 20 million.
I have old friends that I don't speak to much anymore because of political disagreements. I have no doubt that if we were invaded by a foreign nation, there would be two old fat guys standing shoulder to shoulder. We would still be bitching at each other, but we would be shooting at the enemy.
9:15 I want to note that Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto of the Japanese Imperial Navy was given the order by Emperor Hirohito to attack Pearl Harbor, but he didn't want to because he knew it was a bad idea. Obviously he did anyway, but a quote that's tied to him is "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." He was right. You can tell we weren't happy with the fact that the day after Pearl Harbor, we entered the war, with the vast majority of our factories (if not, all of them) being set to produce military supplies. We don't play games.
Tojo, the Prime Minister of Japan decided on war with the USA and attacking Pearl Harbor, not the Emperor. He claimed it in the Emporer’s name however the Emporer was more of a religious and cultural leader. He made no decisions about the political affairs of the country. Just like every Emporer before Hirohito, he spend his time in seclusion from public view, doing his hobbies. Hirohito spent his time studying natural habitats, bugs and other animals. The only time Hirohito finally engaged in a political command position was using his influence to force the surrender of Japan.
@@TheJTcreate You're right. Because it was in the name of the Emperor though, I'm still going to loosely count it as Hirohito giving the order, even when he didn't directly do that. That's besides the point though. The main point is that the Admiral was given the order to attack Pearl Harbor by a higher-up, hesitated, did it anyway, and Japan paid the price for it.
The man who orchestrated the attack on Pearl Harbor later repented of his sins, accepted Christ Jesus as his LORD and Savior God and said he was sorry for all he did!! I’m soo happy he has salvation!!
He forgot to mention the US Coast Guard as another level of homeland protection. And civilians don't have to abide to the Geneva Convention... meaning we can fight very dirty!
I don't think most people consider the US Coast Guard as military. But they give us an advantage. Our Navy doesn't have to worry about protecting the US coast line and bringing the soldiers back from overseas doesn't have to be the priority. We have 50 states that have thousands of national guards that are ready, willing, and able to step up.
@@missyvinson6220they are military. Despite public opinion they are military. You can go AWOL. You lose rights during your service. It's a branch just not a large branch.
We’ve also had random civilians make insane inventions and explosives, we had people attaching glocks to commercial drones and remote firing them. Gorilla warfare inside of America would be unimaginable.
Not to mention the freely available military grade gear of ALL kinds. Americans are always ready for a war. Weather that be across the ocean or in your back yard
California has a majority of active duty personnel, 50 military bases of every branch. Protected by three carrier strike groups. That’s more of an issue than the mountain range
I was glad to hear you state facts. The citizens of the U.S. would have to be contended with. I don’t know how many people in the world realize the number of armed veterans, plus their trained family members. It would be impossible to take a free fighting people.
As a first generation American, I will die for this country before I let this country fall. No matter what politics you have in this country, we should always want it to flourish. A lot of people who are born here never realize how good they have it here that they complain about every small trivial thing. Trust me, if anyone invaded the US, they would wish to be found by the military because ol’ man Hank, who probably served and just wishes to be left alone in his backwoods, and his family is not held to any Geneva convention. They gonna go HAM on those fools.

On my father's side, I have generations of ancestors born on this continent; on my mother's side, I'm the first generation born here. I would gladly lay down my life for my family and my country - or, more specifically, for my fellow Americans. We the People of the United States of America, baby!
Same, as somebody who has lived in another country and has been to several, people that haven't been outside the US before are very ungrateful. Well, alot of them. I'm not going to say all of them.
As an average blue collar American and 63 year old Veteran with other physical issues I would still fight to my last breath for my beautiful Constitution and people. @elifowler07 thank you for that. All I ever got to see was pictures, but his sacrifice is felt every day as I enjoy a free life and all the privileges I have. Thanks to the greatest generation and my grandpa.
He mentioned the Tuskegee Airmen that showed Hiltler he was wrong. The Tuskegee Airmen was a group of African American Military Pilots (fighter and bomber) and airmen who fought in World War II. They formed the 332nd Fighter Group and the 477th Bombardment Group (Medium) of the United States Army Air Forces (USAAF). The Tuskegee airmen received praise for their excellent combat record earned while protecting American bombers from enemy fighters. The group was awarded three Distinguished Unit Citations.
Showed H wrong? Lol!! What a joke. No one actually believes that he thought that aside from clowns and people who don't know real history. The Tuskegee Airmen were nothing special. Just more propaganda to make any non white group seem more impressive than it was. Why were they their own group again? Oh ya because they were from the same country that was committing horrible scientific experiments on black populations intentionally giving them syphilis and a number of other horrible shit.
When asked why he never sent troops to land on the US west coast, he replied that he would not send his troops to die on our shores as "there would be a gun behind every blade of grass".
If any nation looks at us in our current state and thinks we are conquerable just remember this: we may be at eachothers throats right now, but it's more of a "no one can beat my brother except me" kind of thing. We may be fighting right now, but give us an outside enemy to face and it's over for you.
I don't think you understand the resolve that comes hand in hand with stupidity and ignorance. That being said though. I do believe that some outside force pushing our current generation out of the fugue moral and ambition state its currently in, would revitalize that sense of brotherhood and fellow man-ship that our country needs. Much love from The VA coast . I hope your safe wherever you reside!
one fun thing that people tend to overlook is that when it comes to us civilian combatants, its even worse than just looking at the numbers of guns/people. The fact is, people live in all the crazy environments of the us are are well accustomed to them. They talked about it a bit but military training will always be different from people that live in a place and have to shovel 3 ft of snow at least once a week, or people in the south living in the swamps and feeding gators for fun, or others that live in the middle of a literal desert. train all you want, but youll never be able to go from region to region fighting people who are perfectly adjusted to everything. Id also say that lincolns quote is pretty accurate....i cant think of anything more american that people saying "nobody is gonna kill me but me"
@@CatInWonderlands or even just the temperatures. The Rockies get cold as all get out, not to mention the snow. And then the middle/lower states get disgustingly hot and you can go miles between neighbors

All these factors combined with "Tator" the half cooked meth head who also frequents those swamps with his pappy's .30-06 and a whole ass backpack of black tips "left over from the big war". How do think things will go once they meet him after running from hogs all night. Id pay money to see that.
I live in a middle state of the US. We only border other states, and there isn’t a ton of stuff out here-like one city worth mentioning. But I live 10 minutes from an army base, 20 minutes from the national guard, and a little over an hour from an Air Force base. I’ve driven 3 hours away (in the opposite direction from the Air Force base mentioned above) and seen F-22 raptors flying practice formations over the open desert. Even if they did somehow reach the middle of the US, there are tons of very active military bases out here for them to trip over in addition to the armed civilians.
Never underestimate the middle states. If North Dakota was a separate nation, they would have the third largest nuke reserve in the world. Oklahoma has one of the largest bomb factories in the nation. Kansas is a top 5 guns per Capita state. More on this, there are 120 guns per 100 people in the nation. "A gun behind every blade of grass" is apt. All powerful military bases operate in a "2 hour response" window, meaning they can be activated, deployed, and arriving fighting within 2 hours of notice, "against all enemies, foreign or domestic."
That's what I am saying the vets would make the rest of us a really rowdy military group if I do say myself or dare say select 82nd airborne during world war 2 lol but ya thank u for your service u would be generals are other high officers and thank you all for your service😊😊
We immigrants will too. I'm all about the Constitution and a big supporter of the 2A. Don’t discount the millions of American civilians who also grew up comfortable around guns, bow and arrows, knives, etc. There are a whole lot of us, particularly once you leave the upper East coast or lower west coasts, who have both the ability, capacity, and will to protect our families, our property, our communities, and our country. There’s a comedian who has a really funny bit about “if a country attempted to invade the south”. One method of communication what everything else is down is ham operators before I retired. They can connect all over the world. At my retirement, I have operators set up and we could communicated with our sister city Japan
From the internet: In 2017, there was estimated to be near 400 million guns in the United States between police, the military, and American civilians. Over 393 Million (Over 98%) of those guns are in civilian hands. That alone is a big factor for invading ground forces..
I was about to Comment something along this lines, but mine's wasn't gonna be. As fact orientated I love this. But no, seriously. I think that's why the rest of the world hasn't tried that yet. One thing that we can say that is seen all over the world through the media, as americans have guns and lots of them like we go into the stores and buy them like candy
As a gun enthusiast personally, and being in the military, that statistic doesn't really surprise me. Civilian-side we want newer, nicer, cooler things and you can't just throw a gun into a trash can, so they pile up. Not to mention each kind of gun has it's own appeal. Lever actions, bolt actions, pump actions, revolvers, handguns, rifles, etc are all fun to shoot for different reasons, so your average gun owner let alone gun enthusiast has several. When it comes to the military, it's more like "eh screw it, take this 20 year old M16 that's been refitted 5 times. It'll throw lead like anything else". So... yeah the military isn't really the biggest part of the gun market. I imagine the police are pretty similar. That said, devil's advocate: having a gun and using one well are different things entirely. That cuts both ways though. I've seen some of my brethren who are garbage shots and civilian sport shooters who could give infantrymen and Specials ops dudes a run for their money. Another thing, though, is even if a person has 20 guns, they still only have two hands, and might not be keen on arming another 19 people. Even though we could easily arm every last one, at this point.
Willing but wishing no one tries. Though most gun owning Americans hope to never have to use their weapon(s) for defense, don't confuse that with being unwilling.
I have no wish someone would. I pray no such thing would or could ever happen. But if it did, there is no place on this continent safe for you, no place to hide, no place to run. Those who think small arms are useless against tanks, jets and missiles know nothing of warfare. Even if all I had was my little PC9 and my brain, you are on my homeland, fear me.
Idk if he’ll touch on this, but our army is currently a volunteer army. Other nations have mandatory conscription. While we don’t currently, if a war broke out and people tried to invade, the number of our military would rise precipitously thanks to the draft. Also, while you mentioned that many us civilians are armed, many states also have their own private militias. These are military defense forces under control of the state, not the national government and so are often forgotten/not counted when considering the nation’s available troops.
Isoroku Yamamoto was supposed to have said, "I would never invade America, there is a gun behind every blade of grass." This was a serious consideration of the Soviets as well years later.
Truth. The actual quote I was trying to conjure. We all have guns. Some have friggin’ arsenals. Any invading force would have to deal with the military- then millions of civilians who are by and large, well armed and willing to fight from every corner of this blessed land. Good luck with that pootie
Over 19 million retired military veterans and a higher number of privately owned firearms than the number of citizens. Not to mention the number of active police officers in the U.S. It would be significantly easier than in the Revolutionary War for citizens who had never touched a firearm before to be adequately trained to form more localized militias.
Abe didn't mean we'd kill ourselves as a last resort, he meant that if we fall, it will be because of internal division. Also, gas powered vehicles still have tons of wiring for the transmission, lights, dash, etc. so an EMP would disable that too. I think a lot of us feel like I do, in the sense that I won't die for my politicians, but I'd gladly die if someone tried to take our home.
The Mormons in Utah kept the US Army at bay for almost a year (July 1857 - June 1858) with help from the Rocky Mountains. And even then, it was because of diplomacy that the US Army was allowed to enter the Salt Lake Valley without a more prolonged engagement.
The US cut Japans oil supply so they couldn’t keep waging war (as allies) with Hitler. In response, Japan attacked Pearl Harbor in response. This was done because they believed if they could take out all of the US ships in port, they wouldn’t be able to join the war overseas. The US luckily had the majority of their ships out of the port ( doing an exercise I believe..not sure). Japan knew they messed up. It was summed up by one quote from a Japanese admiral. “I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.” -Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto
The Japanese Emperor had a serious case of N.P.D. as he forged forward from ridiculous to impossible..BUT...sadly took hundreds of thousands of lives. This was the only reason the "bomb" was used..because there was zero hope for them to surrender under his rule! Moreover this creep refused to move people to safety..after he was clearly told which places would by struck, to save people's lives.
The Japs didn't care about our ships, it was our carriers they were worried about. They wanted to sink them or at the very least trap them in the harbor by sinking some of our battleships in the entrance, the plan changed when the found the carriers where out on maneuvers so they changed plans and decided to try and damage as much of the pacific fleet as the they could. Also, it had nothing to do with us cutting off their oil supply, they had their eyes set on capturing Gaum, the Philippians and Wake Island just to name a few. Also, that quote was never said by the real Yamamoto, it was said by the actor So Yamamura who played Yamamoto in the movie "Tora! Tora! Tora!".
Yes and no. The oil is yes but the no is that the goal for the Japanese attack was to take out our aircraft carriers. But none were in port (and that's because it was known what was coming). We were isolationists and needed to get in the war, this was a great excuse. Many things screwed up, along with Japan NOT declaring war first formally, yet the diplomats were "typing" it up to give it to us as they were attacking and got the timing wrong, so it was not only a major war crime, but also a very dishonorable action by the Japanese that haunts them still to this day.
I hail from the great state of Texas, where I can promise you, no foreign army would ever so much as sip from the waters of Travis Lake. Any who dared would find themselves on the wrong side of American resolve. Their mothers would weep for sons lost to the righteous fury of armed citizens. In Texas, we spend our weekends sharpening our aim and our resolve with three-gun competitions just for fun. Let me tell you, the thought of facing us in defense of our daughters would be pure nightmare fuel for any invader."
We have a folk song that you probably haven't heard: In 1814, we took a little trip Along with Colonel Jackson down the Mighty Mississip' We took a little bacon and we took a little beans And we caught the bloody British in a town near New Orleans. We looked down the river and we saw the British come And there must have been a thousand of 'em beatin' on the drums. They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring, We stood beside our cotton bales and didn't say a thing. Old Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise If we didn't fire our musket 'til we looked them in the eyes We held our fire until we saw their faces swell Then we opened up our squirrel guns and really gave 'em... well We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin'. There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago. We fired once more and they began a-runnin On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Well, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles They ran into the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go. They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico. Brits lost 2,036/10,000 that day. Americans lost 71/5,000. We took your officers out first, starting with Maj. Generals Pakenham and Gibbs. British rank-and-file couldn't believe that we would snipe your leadership and panicked. Right, tornados are like ex wives they take everything in the blink of an eye. Hurricanes are like a 20-something collage girl wet and wild and will destroy everything.
True, I've experienced both. Grew up in Illinois and slept through a tornado as it flew over my house. Was out during a hurricane during a trail race in North Carolina a few years ago providing directions to runners. I'm so used to bad weather that I've gained a habbit of cussing out Zeus(aka Thunder Butt) whenever it rains while I'm outside despite being raised Christian(more of a CHINO Spiritualist these days tbh).
Essentially, they are the same hurricane much bigger forming over water while a tornado forms over land both have rain yet tornado can be much stronger..
It's not that silly. Hurricanes can and often do spawn tornadoes due to the crosswise air currents & temperatures. Britain is actually one of the few places in Europe where tornadoes can occur (Germany is another)
Fascinating video. I am reminded of when Ronald Reagan told us that the price of freedom is eternal vigilance. We took that to heart. Actually the Japanese Admiral Yamamoto supposedly wrote, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible reolve." This was in response to the Japanese attack on Pearl Harbor. iirc he also is the one who planned the attack which makes him saying this after the fact pretty ironic.
He was ordered to plan the attack. His quote came after he found out that the attack was a surprise to the U.S. The Japanese Ambassador was late delivering the announcement of the declaration of war on America. Yamamoto went to school in the U.S. and knew about our industrial might.
What's crazy is that he and several other people who had been to university in the U.S. and had actually seen firsthand the vast industrial and agricultural power of the U.S. who were pleading with them not to engage the U.S. But they were simply ignored by people who just couldn't believe that any nation was actually rolling that deep. The Japanese are like everybody else, only more so. ;)
Lets not forget that our military can drop tier 1, special assets anywhere in the world within 24 hours. Assuming they caught us by surprise, theyd also have to contend with the millions of vets with a particular concentration of them standing between them and the great plains interstate highway. Theyd be stopped by unmanned strikes (both civilian and military) as soon as they left a residential area on the coast.
Fun fact. The USS Gerald R. Ford, our newest and most advanced aircraft carrier, was built with two nuclear reactors. They produce way more power than needed, cuz the brass plans to put a "directed energy weapon" on it, should it be invented. That's a death ray, it means death ray.

@@patrioticz2858 Well, Obama et al had desired to come after Americans' guns after he took office, but discovered just how well armed we are, plus they couldn't train the Marines to do it. So they were, "...scared to invade..." the USA.
One of the Japanese Admirals had spent time in the US during his education and was against attacking the US. When he was told that the US Aircraft Carriers were NOT in dock at the time of the attack on Pearl Harbor, he said "We have awoken a sleeping giant", because he understood the amount of natural resources, human power, and manufacturing power we had not fully tapped into since we were still recovering from the Great Depression.
National Guard. EACH state has it's own civilian Army (Army trained) with the Governor as it's Commander in Chief. That's 50 additional US Army organizations. Many of which are already supporting active deployments with the Regular Army. This is an additional almost 500,000 Army-training civilians. Same for the Air National Guard.
He actually like the US, advised Japan against the attack on Pearl Harbor and It's also said after the attack on Pearl Harbor he said Japan had woken a sleeping giant. I'm pretty sure I read he was in Washington DC or had just left when the attack happened.
National Guard is a state run paramilitary program. States run and pay, train, their own military units in a part-time function that can be called up by the President in a time of war. They are also the only military units that can be used on US soil without an act of congress, or a declaration of war due to invasion.. they also have not taken into account the amount of Veterans who live in the US.
DJT brought the National Guard into White Hat Forces after the WHs stopped the coup and asked DJT to continue as CIC. I heard some words of late about the "Biden" people wanting to use the NG. All could do is force the coming out of what's happened for this world since January, 2021.
Our National Guard is not a paramilitary program. It is a full military force, not state run, lead in each sate by a commanding General reporting to the Governor. When I was in technical school in the US Air Force, I had three National Guard members in my class. One was a Staff Sergeant from Oklahoma who was cross training from another job skill. At any time the President can declare an emergency and "federalize" the National Guard which has happened many times in history. You are probably too young to remember, but when the Alabama Governor George Wallace refused to let Black students enroll at the University of Alabama in 1963, President Kennedy federalized the Alabama National Guard, and sent the National Guard to the University campus, where General Henry V. Graham commanded Wallace to step aside. The students were enrolled but the federalized Alabama National Guard stayed on campus to assure that the students were not harmed. You might want to look up the Kent State University shootings where the Ohio National Guard called out by the Ohio Governor to stop riots, killed four students and wounded nine others. Paramilitary units can't shoulder weapons. On the other hand in addition to the Georgia National Guard our state also does have a paramilitary "Georgia State Defense Force." The mission of the GSDF is to provide an organized, trained, disciplined, rapid response volunteer force to assist state and local government agencies and civil relief organizations during emergencies to ensure the welfare and safety of Georgia citizens.[ Legislation resulted in the first muster in 1985 when it was re-activated as the Georgia State Defense Force under the command of Brigadier General John Gillette. The force was tasked to provide a cadre around a larger force to assume the vacated domestic missions of Georgia National Guard members called to federal duty. If you have ever heard Clark Howard on TV or Radio, a consumer expert and podcast host of The Clark Howard Show, here is a little tidbit. He explained on air that he was joining the Georgia State Defense Force (an unarmed, non-federal branch of the Georgia Department of Defense) following the September 11 attacks. He attended monthly training workshops around the state as part of his service, and performed medical evacuation work in New Orleans following Hurricane Katrina. He retired after 21 years at the rank of Major. Wait a minute, the thought just came to me that you don't know the definition of paramilitary. Look it up.
In 2018, the Small Arms Survey reported that there are over one billion small arms distributed globally, of which 857 million (about 85 percent) are in civilian hands.[1][2] The survey stated that American civilians account for an estimated 393 million (about 46 percent) of the worldwide total of civilian held firearms,[2] or about 120.5 firearms for every 100 American residents. So...WOLVERINES!!
Correct. Just about every man in the southeast has a small armory. 15 to 30 guns. That is the minimum. With some retired veterans own either a pawn shop or their own guns in the 100s, if not thousands.
When the Mongols tried to invade Japan, their navy was destroyed by a massive storm. That story is actually where the term "Kamikaze" or Divine Wind comes from.

The Rocky Mountains would be impassable. Imagine trying to move troops through a highway system and Bob with his 300mag and $200 vortex popping chests from…somewhere.
34:41 Nation Guard is actually a misstatement. EACH State has a military force that can be called upon to deal with things that local police couldn't handle. Riots, natural disasters, humanitarian aid, ect... they can also be requested by the President to each State's Governor to support or even fight alongside the National military forces in other countries. (they saw lots of deployments during the Iraq War). SO each State has it's own smaller Army & Airforce that can be activated and fight for that State. this also doesn't include the Coast Guard which is the National navy that only patrols the Coast lines of the country. which makes it a mini Navy.

The interior of the country is a natural fortress that also happens to contain _all_ of the food. On such large scales, medieval tactics are still in play. The mountains are the walls and the fields are the larders.
During British Invasion of 1812 the British troops suffered in the humidity of our East Coast as they were there for the summer months. They were also hit with a combo Hurricane and Tornado. Most reports say tornado. This storm arose seemingly out of nowhere and helped extinguish the flames that were burning our Capital. The storm literally lifted cannons being used by the British and tossed them like toys. Needless to say, the British were unfamiliar and not prepared. The British forces evacuated our Capital 26 hours after beginning their attack. Our American history has many incredible stories of coincidence and examples that seem to miraculously occur aiding in the creation and preservation of our Constitutional Republic ( we are not a democracy by the way, as our founding fathers were rightfully weary of mob rule and wisely chose our Constitution as the law of the land). It’s really interesting to learn about. I’m an American history nerd lol!
That's honestly one of my pet peeves is when people call America a democracy, even the idiots in the government. We're a republic. That's why the pledge of allegiance goes "I pledge allegiance to the flag of the United States of America and to the REPUBLIC for which it stands...."
@@bradc6199 I think shipworms played a part in the armadas demise as well. A republic is one of several types of democracy. We are most certainly a democracy. Just because we aren't a "direct democracy" doesn't mean we aren't one. We are a representative democracy. The Constitution establishes a federal democratic republic form of government. That is, we have an indivisible union of 50 sovereign States. It is a democracy because people govern themselves. It is representative because people choose elected officials by free and secret ballot.
Thank you for that. Many people are unaware of that fact. It's in the Constitution 😊

Tojo, the Prime Minister of Japan decided on war with the USA and attacking Pearl Harbor, not the Emperor. Just like every Emporer before Hirohito, he spend his time in seclusion from public view, doing his hobbies. Hirohito spent his time studying natural habitats, bugs and other animals. @@TheJTcreate You're right. Because it was in the name of the Emperor though, I'm still going to loosely count it as Hirohito giving the order, even when he didn't directly do that.
True. I live where they trained.

Yeah. They know this. That's why they are destroying us with disinformation.
one fun thing that people tend to overlook is that when it comes to us civilian combatants, its even worse than just looking at the numbers of guns/people. Id also say that lincolns quote is pretty accurate....i cant think of anything more american that people saying "nobody is gonna kill me but me"
was going to comment something like this but you explained it amazingly, just about every environment you can imagine exist in America.

@SauceHaver yup look at some of the midwest, lowa, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio. Triple digit summers, 6 months later it can drop to -40.
You forgot we have the Texans to a different breed of badass!

From the internet: In 2017, there was estimated to be near 400 million guns in the United States between police, the military, and American civilians. Over 393 Million (Over 98%) of those guns are in civilian hands.
That alone is a big factor for invading ground forces..
I bet that number is much higher at this point. Those numbers are low anyway because of unregistered firearms

Well said I wasn't in any kind of service but I had six uncle's that did so I'd help the country defend best way I know how 😊
Over 19 million retired military veterans and a higher number of privately owned firearms than the number of citizens.

“I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve.”
-Japanese Admiral Isoroku Yamamoto
Not the majority. Just the aircraft carriers.
Which turned out to be the most important ships
We cut their oil? That sounds like we were officially in the war already before Pearl?

We have a folk song that you probably haven't heard:
In 1814, we took a little trip
Along with Colonel Jackson down the Mighty Mississip'
We took a little bacon and we took a little beans
And we caught the bloody British in a town near New Orleans.
We looked down the river and we saw the British come
And there must have been a thousand of 'em beatin' on the drums.
They stepped so high and they made their bugles ring,
We stood beside our cotton bales and didn't say a thing.
Old Hickory said we could take 'em by surprise
If we didn't fire our musket 'til we looked them in the eyes
We held our fire until we saw their faces swell
Then we opened up our squirrel guns and really gave 'em... well
We fired our guns and the British kept a-comin'.
There wasn't nigh as many as there was a while ago.
We fired once more and they began a-runnin
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.
Well, they ran through the briars and they ran through the brambles
They ran into the bushes where a rabbit couldn't go.
They ran so fast that the hounds couldn't catch 'em
On down the Mississippi to the Gulf of Mexico.

DJT brought the National Guard into White Hat Forces after the WHs stopped the coup and asked DJT to continue as CIC. I heard some words of late about the "Biden" people wanting to use the NG. All could do is force the coming out of what's happened for this world since January, 2021.
Its our national militia trained by our military as stated in the constitution.
we finctionally have reserves for the reserves too
Our National Guard is not a paramilitary program.
On the other hand in addition to the Georgia National Guard our state also does have a paramilitary "Georgia State Defense Force."
The mission of the GSDF is to provide an organized, trained, disciplined, rapid response volunteer force to assist state and local government agencies and civil relief organizations during emergencies to ensure the welfare and safety of Georgia citizens.[
Legislation resulted in the first muster in 1985 when it was re-activated as the Georgia State Defense Force under the command of Brigadier General John Gillette.
Look it up.
I say we let Texas and Louisiana step aside and left the Mississippi national guard handle Mexico.
America isn’t like other countries we all have guns so you aren’t fighting just our military you are fighting the whole population. GL
Twice. It happened twice. Mongols figured the first time was just a weather fluke. Right? Right?
@@Mr.TrUnrBrigs-oo4yz yup.
Down south we have so many hunters with long range scoped rifles. Essentially recreational snipers. Go down a road and watch your buddy drop followed by the roar of a 4 wheeler running down a dirt road, just to happen again and again.
The Rocky Mountains would be impassable. Imagine trying to move troops through a highway system and Bob with his 300mag and $200 vortex popping chests from…somewhere.
It’s each state has its own military to deal with state issues, but they also help in disasters
34:41
Nation Guard is actually a misstatement.
Add in the fact that many state police are armed as well as the actual military, and much of our various police forces are made up of veterans.
Not to mention local militias.
Yes, and it's the 2nd war with Britian that prompted Francis Scott Key to compose the Star Splangled Banner our National Anthem.
the amount of foreign military gear "lost in a boating accident" would be astronomical
Lol
Facts and it would all be untraceable lol
We can't have Ukrainian farmers outdoing us on the repurposing of enemy military equipment.
I hope that whoever invades us has really cool Hugo Boss uniforms. Grandad said they made great souvenirs.
@@digitalnomad9985 LOL, All those Ukrainian farmers working at Lockheed.
We're doing the repurposing for them. Ukies are drafting downs syndrome patients at this point, no joke.
Japan attacked Pearl Harbor (A really big military base) with hopes to stop the U.S. from joining WW2, but their plan backfired horribly and led to the U.S. joining the war and leading to the Allies victory
One of the best quotes I've heard recently was when a general was asked about where we stand on our enemies, he said on their throats! That tells the world our mind set.
The US has the largest, best equipped Air Force on the planet. The 2nd, the US Navy’s. Let that sink in.
My mom was Army Air Corps in WW II. Yeah, my mom. We had an aviation themed funeral. My dad was naturally overseas. FAFO. Even we women will do what we must.
Our navy actually has a more powerful airforce then our airforce but the us air force has more planes. Or the other way around idr
When Britain attacked in this video it was the war of 1812. Yes, we had won the revolutionary war, but the Brits attacked, again. Remember the video you watched regarding the Star Spangled Banner? our Flag? Written by Frances Key Scott? That battle was during this time and when our national anthem was written.
well in defense of the UK we did try and take Canada in witch the war was a tie.
@@GardenFolklifeYou’re forgetting very important events such as the British taking American sailors for their navy

So glad u said they forgot about the civilians, we have guns... lol as a American and a ex solider of the US army i agree with you that no one will be able to ever invade American and if they did the civilians will help the military
Our American history has many incredible stories of coincidence and examples that seem
to miraculously occur aiding in the creation and preservation of our Constitutional Republic ( we are not a democracy by the way, as our founding fathers were rightfully weary of mob rule and wisely chose our Constitution as the law of the land).
Most Americans don’t even know we were founded as a REPUBLIC and not a democracy. Lol. I’m just dumbfounded. Lol.
Similar to the storm that destroyed the Spanish Armada... The Almighty has a purpose...
@@bradc6199 I think shipworms played a part in the armadas demise as well. I read a paper on how they have been thought to have played a pretty good role in it due to the food they eat primarily being wood. They look like worms, as their name suggest, but are actually a type of clam. They eat the hulls of wooden ships drastically weakening their structure. They were fears by mariners of the old world and even to this day cause an estimated $1 billion in damages every year.
I can't believe so many people only took the first two days of civics class then left thinking they had all they needed.

Of those civilians with fire arms, "In 2023, there were more than 18 million living (military) veterans".
I bet our government doesn't even worry about veterans turning on them.
Don’t forget our dogs don’t forget our police departments don’t forget our fire department and since we seem to have just about every natural disasters in the United States, we have people train to handle those situations. Also, I never really thought about how trained we are.
