    Once again a great trip. Thanks for filming your time in Algonquin. You are lucky to have friends that want to go along with the adventure.

      When they come once they’re hooked. It doesn’t take much convincing after they’ve been there

      @@IanYoungOutdoors I will be that is completely true! One thing I wanted to check with you and forgot. I noticed you using a
      paddle that did not look like it would be part of a rental package. I have a similar paddle made by a gentleman in
      Canada, is that by an chance a custom paddle you use?

      I bought a Badger paddle 2 years ago from AO in Huntsville. It’s a one piece cherry otter tail I believe. I absolutely love it! Way better than the rental paddles

    Great trip. I'll bet that beer tasted good after 8-days in the bush!

    Always enjoy your videos Ian. Keep up the great work with them. You put a lot of effort into it. Your videos are smooth with the pans and transitions.
    I will keep doing my small videos of my trips with my friend and hope to bump into you and others that I follow online.

    Great series Ian. I'll remember not to attempt Heart Attach Hill the other way! It's amazing how different the water levels are between spring and summer. When my brother and I were in this area we could barely get the canoe under that old railway bridge on Kiosk. We had to lie flat in the canoes to make it under.

      Thanks Larry! If you ever do HAH definitely plan on taking a lot of time and rests, yikes lol. Yeah I remember seeing you guys duck under the bridge and thought it was crazy how low we were when we went under it.

    Another enjoyable video, great job. You guys need to paddle Killarney, if you haven’t already, thanks Ian.

      Thanks Derek! We actually did a big loop around Killarney in 2016. I have some videos on the channel from that. Great area, I definitely want to go back

      Cool, I will give them a view. I'm sure you are already know, but Temagami and Lady Evelyn Smoothwater aren't much further than Algonquin, and the canoeing & fishing are epic. More rugged, more waterfalls, crystal clean water. Have a great winter, I enjoy your videos.

      Yeah Temagami is on the list. We might be heading there for next year’s trip

    Hey great video. My friend and I did this area of the park a couple of years back, and were going the other way from skuce into osler.. we did those two portage’s back to back after having some day drinks on skuce... one of my largest regrets in life haha

      @IanYoungOutdoors  6 років тому +1

      Evan! Thanks man! I actually watched your videos a few times in researching this loop. I remember you saying they were uphill and tough, so that’s why we ended up going the other direction. Thanks for that! Haha the day drinks are always helpful in motivation though

      July 29 - Aug 5. They weren’t too bad, only a few spots that sucked.
