Hello! I'm in talks at the moment with someone that is selling the exact same motorcycle model and color. Just like this one...original paint and everything, just the seat was redone. Seriously thinking of buying it as a 2nd motorcycle to have and ride once in a while on chill Sundays. I also own a 2016 Africa Twin with which i do my long distance travels...but always wanted a classic bike for that retro vibe...and this bike really is something that you don't see everyday.
    Cheers from Romania!

I was going to say that you could look at this one at Oxford Classic Honda...but I think you may be a little too far away...good luck. Let us know how you get on.

@@MotorcycleFettlers sooo, i'm glad to say i took the bike and i've also serviced the carburetors, changed all fluids, brake pads and i'll do the fork next. Took it for a short ride last Friday and i've noticed that it doesn't want to lean as easily as my 2016 Africa Twin (for example). Are they like this because of different, much older way to build the frame and all the angle they used back then? I don't have a problem with this but i'd like to know for a fact why it's like this, because i don't have any experience with old motorcycles. The bike drives superbly, the shaft transmission is so soft and delicate and the clutch also. Just love it! Thanks for the response!

im scared of watercooled bikes. zey usualy are more powerfull and can leak like my car does... in old..er cars it can be common and just filling it up is cheaper says our mechanic... how leaky are old motorbikes?

Good question. I'm not really sure. From my own experience, there are are lots of things to worry about on an older bike and water leaks have not been at the top of my list...Electrics...Fuel...

@@MotorcycleFettlers yeah just got back from a ride thinking how nice my bike is... so simple no comp... just hid. brakes and steel cables, no abs, no gear ind. I was soo full of myself with pride and that idea that my bike is just perfect simple.
clutch cable snaped... that was not a fun ride home :c
2nd time, once before 5000 km!
its not about one time rapair cost but about loosing confidence in the machine in general. i hope You all dont get such trust shatering ''breaks'' like cable wear fear or cooling leaks or yelowing of carbs becouse it obv is leaking somewhere, or choke levers that just dont stay as set, or squeky shocks.or maybe the front tyre is loosing a bit of air.
i love my kawasaki zephyr550 but i fear ''it'' does not love me back
