Finding it hard to find info on what happens when someone wants to buy a product from your own listings. What does the message look like from the buyer as started today and the 2 msgs I got look like scam. One needs my email address to purchase the product, the other tells me to reply with + to get a receipt link? What should I be receiving if someone wants to buy? thanks
as a top seller do you experience any slow periods on the app selling? i was doing really good for 2 weeks straight and then on my third week posting consistently my sales dropped a lot , and i post 50 items a week, i got invited to a top sellers course and i read that the end of summer can be really slow, is this true for u?
Normally I find the first half of the year to be slower than the second. Sales do have dips so I wouldn’t worry to much. You should find that your good weeks balance out the bad. 50 a week is great effort! Check your items fit the seasons and you should be okay 👌
Thank you for the advice your videos have come at the perfect time for me! Some questions... do you add free treats for buyers (Iv noticed a lot of people add stickers and hair clips) I haven't planned to. Did you invest in a steamer to iron out clothes? How many items should I be aiming to have in my shop? Thank you
I add free gifts occasionally to big orders but overall I think hand written thank you notes are the most appreciated. Yes! I sent a creased shirt to a buyer once- this was a mistake! I bought a cheap steamer from Amazon and this works great. Aim for 50-60 and see what happens. In the long term, more listings is your best bet at more sales. Good luck with your shop! x
Why waste money on stuff that will end up in the trash? I don't care anything about free "gifts". Seems over the top. Make sure the item is clean and packaged well. Add a thank you sticker on the package.
Hv just started selling , hv had 3 offers and there are asking for my email and £200,the other £189 to b in my acc b4 ,is this valid😢
If they are asking for your email- it's a scam. They seem to be targeting new shops so watch out!

They should be able to checkout straight away without asking anything from you- if they are asking for an email it is likely a scammer x
My biggest issue against clothes is you need the space!!! to store it.
A lot of space!
so which one are other betters ways than Depop to make money online you think? thanks :))
