The workers had to completely empty each tank and re-home the fish while they cleaned everything out because that kid's stunt alone fucked the ecosystem for both tanks. The dude in this video 100% killed many fish with his stupid stunt.

Imagine someone who is paid to say “Sir, this is a Wendy’s,” but who also had to be told “Sir, this is a McDonald’s.”
As someone who aspires to one day work at a zoo or aquarium the fish tank stunt disgusted me. He most likely killed most of those fish or at best got them injured/made them stressed. Fish are not the hardiest so if they’re not dead/dying now they’ll die later as a result. What’s even more embarrassing is that he’s wearing his work uniform while doing it.
Genuinely, not a lot of people believe smaller animals feel things, but they do. Goldfish should live WAY longer than they do. I’m sorry but it’s not quirky that you put your fish in a small vase and then forgot to feed it, and killed it after one day. You should want to keep it alive like wtf

I think I’m the most upset at the aquarium video because the introduction of outside bacteria, dirt, etc. Can seriously disrupt the biome of the tank
same. especially if he was wearing any lotions or sunscreens that could come off into the water. Even cheap clothes can leach chemicals when wet which is why you have to double wash them when new
tank wasn't closed, so i'm guessing they were prolly local fish, but if any of them were endangered and he killed them, that can be serious time. either way, trespassing, destruction of property, causing public disruption, and he's of age, so i can't imagine a judge feeling inclined to show a ton of leniency. if he's been warned by the cops for any of his previous videos, he could spend some real time in jail for this. or even actual ffmita prison if he killed an endangered species while committing a crime.
I think TikTok should have a rule that things that cause a public disturbance will be taken down. Like all those stupid videos like this should be able to be reported for public harassment. All those dumb accounts with 18-year-olds promoting their OnlyFans by being half-naked in Walmart or Home Depot should have their accounts taken away.

I work at a zoo with only a couple aquatic animals and we were all guarding the pools with our LIVES when it was a trend to run around and jump into aquariums. It was so scary to think one of our aquatic animals could be hurt, especially bc we’re a nature conserve so most of our animals are endangered, all of our aquatics are endangered. In fact, aquatic animals account for over 75% of endangered animals :(. As a conservation biologist it makes me SO unbelievably mad that anyone would jump into a tank in an aquarium and injure/k*ll innocent animals.

Being a fish owner, I know that sadly a lot of those fish probably didn't make it. The stress, the touching, the external bacteria from his clothes/ shoes, whatever perfumes he had on from soap or cologne, all that affects a fish so traumatically.
