Transat CIC updates: 3 May

The first regatta of 2024 for Alberto Bona and the Class40 IBSA is a solo ocean crossing, as famous as it is tough: the Transat CIC. The expected mileage from Lorient to New York is 3,500 NM, to be sailed along a Northern route in the Atlantic Ocean, very difficult due to wind, sea and current conditions, and very challenging for all competing classes.
The estimated travel time is between 13 and 15 days, during which the skippers will have to find the best route to reach the finish line - 130 miles off the coast of New York - as quickly as possible. Let's all root for our skipper, who also this time is ready to show determination, competence and a lot of courage!
