Many songs that are very popular in the Vocaloid community are not even here because the most popular songs overall are the ones that broke into the more mainstream public, specially the Japanese & sometimes the worldwide, still, I find interesting seeing how ppl here in the commment expected one song or another that aren’t known at all outside the community haha 😭
It also doesn't help that in the earlier years, producers uploaded on NND and not on UA-cam, meaning reprints (that often got taken down later) have millions of views but both the original and official uploads have much less. Even Japanese listeners end up on English translations because they're just easier to find. So, in fact, there's a lot of songs here I was surprised by (in that I had never heard of them before) while it was missing ones that I know most people do know of, but which have less views on their official uploads than on reprints.
