I was surprised too! I was interested to read that the P class had only 75% of the tractive effort of the A1X Terrier. Apparently cost saving measures undertaken in the P's design contributed to this.
Yes indeed I am going to the gala at the Bluebell over the two or three days and I'm looking forward to see the two visiting LSWR locos in action. Are you going to the Mid Hants Railway during this weekend for their gala?
Bluebell was in front of 73082 Camelot for the Sheffield Park-Horsted keynes leg as Bluebell was going to do brake van rides at Horsted Keynes. It paired with 73082 so that it didn't need a separate single line possession.
That little tank engine was pulling all those coaches?!
I'm impressed that P class can handle a 7 coach rake!

I've always wondered if that whistle is what bluebell was specced with from factory. Then again, all the p class seem to have different whistles
I love Bluebell’s chime whistle in this
Sad to hear that Bluebell has to be withdrawn from service due to problems on the boiler and fire box.
Joe Light Railway it is a shame but it does unfortunately happen. You going to the gala?

@@joelightrailway2362 Yes at least two of the days at Mid Hants, all three days at Bluebell for me too. 178 replacing 323 on first trip
@@benjenden4997 Ok. What day are you going during the Mid Hants Spring Gala?
Also why was Bluebell leading a Black 5?
Standard 5*
