"Horror movie franchise, Silent Hill"
Nobody remembers about the games anymore.
Nobody remembers anything about silent hill period.
@@yomama12546 honestly, its kinda sad.
Silent hill is my fav horror game along with the old resident evils( the ones before they got all underworld and blade like.)
@@Hotboytrue The new Resident Evils are pretty on point with FPShooting experiences if you ask me. Not to mention quite an upgrade n difference from RE1. Jus sayin..

Red room, an urban legend referring to a hidden service or website on the dark web where kidnapped victims are tortured and eventually killed while viewers watch them live and decide their fate for money.

i was looking for this comment, i couldn’t believe i knew not one, but TWO of these stories already 😅
DID YOU KNOW..... there is even a Wikipedia page with all Wikipedia's UNUSUAL ARTICLES in it?
Never knew.
Please post the link here! I love to learn tons of useless trivia.
I knew that
all these entries about mt. everest deaths, cannibals, and ghost towns, and I'm just sitting here wondering how it would be even remotely profitable for people to sell maggot-cheese, and how it's so profitable that there be a literal black market for the stuff
Yes there is in fact a black market for this cheese only cause is illegal to sell and is made in large family's only for pass on the tradition. I tried it once and tastes like a very strong, deep flavored cheese that's actually very nice.
@@vagnarao5019 lol why would you try it? honestly the maggots colonizing the gut and the contamination is the only reason I won't try it, not the taste or preparation itself.
@@AcolyteOfLucifer There’s a way to remove the maggots. Wrap a piece of the cheese in plastic so the maggots die of suffocation.
@@raphaelledesma9393 you still eat the maggots unless you're handpicking them out of it one by one, dead just means they aren't moving around.
@@vagnarao5019 ah, yes, rotten cheese that is currently (or has been) partly eaten by maggots, seems nice!
The Horror VIDEO GAME franchise-Fixed for you!
I think theres a movie also
@@snowybanana02 There is, but the game is what is whats it's know for more!
@Trevor B up and I have the Whole collection from Ps1 to the Ps3!
What's that about
Different franchises, the movie is obviously based on the games.
But the town in the movie is based on the town in the video while the game is not.
Two different franchises, content creator was completely right this time. As a true fan i would be annoyed if he refered to the video game instead.

That fatal insomnia thing is scaring me. Only slept for 3 hours a day for the past week and feel kinda restless
Do some research on it. Go to a doctor. Don't just panic because you saw a video on UA-cam. I know it's easy to say and not to do but if you're worried then try to make a change.
I have done this for years and while it has had an effect on my brain function I am still very much alive. I do not think you or I suffer from fatal insomnia.
Oh no that’s far from fatal insomnia insomnia is like you literally don’t sleep at all if you do it’s probably minutes at a time
It’s definitely not fatal insomnia. If it was you wouldn’t be getting any sleep at all.
I’ve been to Centralia Pennsylvania! It’s super cool and the only residents there are the ones who’ve refused to move since the fire started, or if they’re decedents from them. The saddest part is they filled in Graffiti Highway over the last few years :/
So they took a dead body, and used a decon to answer for him and then went to town on his corpse, haha. Wow.

I didn’t realize how close Centralia is to where I live, granted, it’s about an hour away from Wilkes Barre/Scranton
You live in PA too lit
1:37 Uh... actually I think it might have been the Silent Hill horror game franchise that inspired the Silent Hill movie franchise.
Maybe it was the town
I'm my restless dreams I see that place... Centralia
Elena de Hoyos continuously rejected Tanzler and wasn't interested in him. Her family only entertained him out of desperation because he had lied he was an actual doctor who could cure her, ultimately dooming her faster. She had made it clear before her death that she didn't love him and what he did was in total disregard for her feelings. People actually tried to romanticize him after he was caught and he even tried to get her body BACK. The man was the worst "r/nice guy" you could meet.

Hákarl isn't the only weird icelandic food, there is a whole season (starting now in mid january) called Þorrinn and people usually get together for a þorrablót
Video idea: scp 682 vs the tarrasque (from Dungeons & Dragons). A fight between two hyper-regenerative, basically unkillable monsters would be awesome to see.
The story of Centralia is actually very sad.
The infographics guy: "What if you could not do the most basic thing we need to survive, sleep. You try everything but can not fall asleep and move through your days in a daze...!" Me: "Wow, i never thought that I would have a episode of the infographics show about me"

because that's the point.
Centralia is less than an hour from my house. I've been there many times over the years.

Not to mention the fact that a lackluster film that took FAR to many liberties with the lore, and a direct to video sequel that tried to cram in so much fan service that the plot was ridiculous can hardly be considered a movie “franchise.”
They aren't wrong though, it is both.

A few years ago, I did a ghost tour in Key West and the tour guides talked about that last story
Its incredibly funny seeing Casu Martzu on youtube. Its honestly more of a cultural thing, like a test of your bravery.
I've been to Centralia just recently as a covid adventure and the township hated the attention it received so they actually covered up most of where the fires are and you have to go very out of the way to get there. There are a couple graveyards that the fires are underneath that attach to the main roads but nothing serious
Went out to search the last one, thinking I can sleep after that and oh boy, realized how wrong was I

First item. I was born in a mining town in the North East of England. We had a number of coal mines. One of them had a huge spoil heap containing an amount of coal in places. For some reason or another these coal-rich places caught fire, glowing bright red at night. During WW2 the fires had to be damped down in case German bombers used the heap as a waypoint.

Me on Wikipedia yesterday realizing it was Wikipedia’s 20th birthday but now this video I can’t take it wish em a happy birthday tho
My parents lived near there. (Centralia) Every time we travelled, I noticed wisps of smoke and dead trees around abandoned houses. I had never heard of the Silent Hill movies, I'll have to watch them!

Maybe it's because I first heard about Centralia in Half as Interesting's video, which wasn't dark and gloomy, instead it was quite the opposite. But it doesn't really sound all that disturbing to me.
Centralia is a creepy town. Had an insane idea to go explore it and hope not to get arrested. Id recommend not to go!

I kept eating my ice cream through the casu martzu section of the video, I guess growing up spending every summer in sardinia since my father is from there made me immune to being disgusted by casu martzu. (still would never eat it no thanks)

There is a Webtoon called Elena about the same thing; a man whose wife had died, had her corpse dug up and he acted like her corpse was still alive. When he got bored of it, he murdered other women and did the same to their corpse. Though many parts of the Webtoon are different, to me the real life story and the Webtoon are pretty similar.
What's in Florida that some people living there become, well, eccentric one way or another?

I listen to the Infographics Show to fall asleep, thus offsetting my fatal insomnia
I showed my friend a picture of 12,000 yr old bread and the first thing he asked was "is it gluten free?"
I once saw the comments section on an article about the deadliest dishes ever served, and one person apparently got angry about Casu Marzu being included, saying things like, “How dare you label our food as dangerous! If you uncultured pigs ever set foot in Sardinia you will find we eat CASU MARZU and we LOVE IT! You should be ashamed!” Etc.
