Sir, I have noticed that when you create a subinterface on the edge router, you have not used the command "ip routing." How can inter-VLAN communication work without the "ip routing" command?

ip routing is enabled by default unless its disabled by 'no ip routing'

The inter-vlan routing was done on the ROUTER and not on the switch. Note, "ip routing" command is only applied on the switch and not needed on the router.
