The tiger was way ahead of its time and way more developed .however its issue is that since it was a complex machine for its time , it meant that maintenance took way more time and was harder not to mention the high cost of production resulting in the germans operating few numbers of them.the russians eventho had inferior tanks they just rellied on overwhelming the germans with numbers .so if it would take 10 russian tanks to destroy 1 tiger ,it would still be considered a success .
In Russia, people are very proud of our tanks. That is only a tank beathlon. Although we also often have disputes about which tanks were better: Soviet or German. I am glad that in this video it was our tanks that won 1st place.
Soviet tanks were the "best" because they were "good enough" to fight German tanks and they produced shitloads of them meaning in theory when your tank broke down you could just dump it and get a new one and continue with it
