Condescending tone that manages to make the exciting, boring.
on the contrary, its refreshing to watch LR compared to sooo much else on yt that is overhyped yelling
have you met an australian before
Whinging, b!tchmade tone that manages to contribute nothing of value while ignoring the fact that you could jog off to literally anywhere else to watch analysis, leading to the pin of shame and being ratio'd into oblivion. Have a nice day, try harder tomorrow chap.
Harry, check out some of LRs other stuff. If you are into pro-cycling I'm sure you will see the value of his approach and expertise.
pin of shame
Wow that’s sick to drag a the whole group back to Frigo, cover attacks the whole time, and then win an uphill sprint. Pedersen looks lethal.
Absolute beast performance
He even said after the race that it was by far his hardest day ever on the bike. Still won it in style. Absolute beast in perfect condition from the get go.
I know it's not the strongest field, but Mads is looking strong. MVDP was killing it in cross. WVA has been getting some much-needed time off. Should be an interesting classics season.
mads is the kind of guy who loves when conditions are shit because he knows his character and determination will carry him through. what an absolute beast of a rider, physically and mentally
👍 here’s to wishing for a muddy roubaix!
It was 2 degrees Celsius, raining like hell, and they had a lot of wind as well. The riders confirmed that it had been the worst day on the bike - they could not remember anything worse. Next day loads of the riders was not showing up - 32 in total. Frigo being one of them - we are missing a statement from him, because he must have gone as deep as possible and then getting nothing to show, must have been a hard blow. Long way up to become the Cannibal, but a great show from Mads - not the wise thing to leave the rest of the team 30 km before goal, but total respect on the beast mode.
It's common knowledge, that when it rains Mads Pedersen get's a 25 watt powerbonus!
He is though yeah😂
I'm our no. 100 like😂. Also a Dane!
Wow, incredible ride from Stites. Good to see Project Echelon in the mix!
Rapid fire LR ❤
That man went absolutely *Mads!* 🤯
Damn, I've missed these reviews. Good to have cycling back, good to have you back!
"2.1 version of van der poel's amstel gold race"
how do you come up with stuff like this. lovely.
Holy hell that was some ride by Mads!
Pedersen is so underrated. Top 5 rider in the world imo
I don't think he is underrated. He is a champion and everybody knows it. Not sure about the Top5 though, there are quite a few beasts these days. Pogi, Roglic, MVDP, Vingegaard, Van Aert, Evenepoel, just to name 6. He is definitely Top 10 though. And five victories in seven racedays is a crazy start of a season.
Agreed, His classics results for 2023 is super good, along with a 4 in worlds
His last season was amazing, Definitely top 5. Perfectly rated though. Nothing underrated about the man.
@@chrisko6439 having the tractor in RVV and PR is going to make a difference for Mads, LR even said it a few years ago when Quick Step was not properly positioned in RVV due to the tractor not being in full health
Top 5? So you’re saying he is better then either mvdp, WvA, REV, Pogi or what vingegaard? Stfu
Project Echelon is big boying their Eurotrip this year. Cool to see a US "crit" team in Europe contesting real results.
I’ve had the pleasure of seeing what one of the project echelon guys could do in my local gravel race. My word… the fact that a uci conti rider did what he did was unreal and set the course record by over 15 minutes. Would love to see more pros show up and get people excite about racing in our area!
Does look like Harrogate conditions, he excels when the weather is grim. Incredible rider. Pulls then out out sprints every one🥵
damn, big up Mads! big season this year pls!
Mega shout for the US guys Tyler and Riley bagging top 10s on a brutal day and Scott McGill in the break. Legends!
Keep em coming ❤
Clearly, Mads did his homework this winter.
absolutely ridiculous. i was laughing from the moment mads started pulling
Pedersen is a beast.
Tour de la Mads.
5 the Win for Mads P this year!🇩🇰
10 /2 Early for a 🖐️💪 Lidl trek👍
Looking awesome for monuments
😜🔝❤️
Amazing performance from MP
MVDP Amstel light
Amstel Cold
Amstel IPA!
Lidl Trek is gonna be scary this year
The team was rlly bad today they were just lucky Pedersen was levels above
Sadly they have been struggling in recent years. We all just know that they are capable of greatness.....
Mads become a known name at Worlds , Harrogate. The weather must ‘ must ‘ be cold , windy and nasty and bingo. Even greater chance of winning !!! Not that he cannot win when weather is fair he’s just in his element when it’s grim !!!!!!
The stage he won at the tour in '22 was a right 40 degree scorcher but you're right, this type of weather is the very definition of danskervejr (Dane weather)
@@mikkelline11 very universal stocky stocky rider. Us UK whinging Poms just soft as. The Northern European’s are hard as nails. Largely
@@zzhughesd Denmark is all islands and a peninsula, so to race you really have to be comfortable in wet windy conditions in every season.
I personally think that the reason Vingegaard for example is so good (besides his physique and talent) is that, even though we have Zero mountains, he developed great technical skills riding these roads. Rain may favour Pogi slightly but the terrain here made Vingegaard tough for a climber. There are plenty of mountains down south, he just had to find them 😅
@@mikkelline11 yes. Loads food for thought.
He is a hard nail , dont think many in the peleton ask twist 😂😂
This is my ideal way of following the peloton in this kind of races!
beast mode!
Mads is one if the best one day riders in the world tour. Watch out this year!
big ride though from tyler Stites though
Pedersen said after the stage that it had been one of the worst days for cycling. I do think there is something to it - Magnus Cort for instance has mentioned that a very wet and cold Giro stage (which he won) cost him a big part of that season.
Pedersen is top 2 favourite for Flanders and Roubaix now
Favorite rider
same
Beast mode is right. Sheesh.
I know this is going back a ways but reminds me of Sean Kelly in his prime.
Mads, not Wout or Mathieu is the true Sagan successor. He's going balls out for reduced bunch sprints and GC in 2.1 races in February. He will likely podium 3 monuments this spring without winning. But I'd bet on him for worlds!
This year's Worlds is too hilly for Mads. I'm betting Poggi this year.
Mads will have a great shot at PR though. And maybe even at MSR and RvV.
Constructive criticism, tyler stites is more pronounced sty as in style stytes
And another constructive criticism is that Mads is pronounced Mas. As a general rule in Danish the letter d is silent. Same in Vingegaard.
Enjoyed video re cap. Solid.
Congratulations Mads!
Mads how?
Mad show.
No tour of Columbia analysis ?
Nah imo, the field here being weaker doesn't matter/detract from the victory. 99.99% of riders wouldn't have been able to do this. Close every gap, bring back all thr counter attacks, thr breakaway AND win the sprint. Banger
I dont know. Pedersen has moved to Helvetia. Maybe there is more Windy and rainy weather in Denmark.
Hey Patrick is Friggo by chance son of Dario Friggo from the 90s?
I dont think so
Kasper Saver, the best rider in the peloton!!
Nice work Mads!
Kasper Saver ❤️❤️❤️
We call it Danish weather 👌🏻 which automatically leads to a Mads P day
Then there's me riding off into the sunset on my rim brakes, despite these guys being on epo there disc brakes weighed them down so much they couldn't catch me.
Plus. Didn’t Pederson win his worlds champ jersey in horrible conditions. He seems to thrive in it.
He did. He's trained in those conditions often. I actually once met him on a cold ride out where he used to live. I was fairly proud as I managed to hold on to him at a distance of 100 meters until I realized he was on a roll-down and only a k or two from his hometown. That was in 2020 -- the year after he won the worlds and he looked magnificent with those rainbow stripes on his bike and on the collar of his gabba style jacket.
I was never close enough to say anything to him and it was during the whole covid thing so...
Only one word: Roubaix 2024 ❤ its going down
Good for Mads! Well ridden race.
Poor Frigo, will be interesting to follow him this season
Mads 😍
Wow!
Super impressive ride from Mads, damn. Starting to feel sorry for the guys racing in dogshit weather day after day, not what they imagined when they signed up lol
Man this would have been a great stage to watch...but Warner Bros decided we cant have nice things
Stites (pronounced with a long i, as in light) is a beast and would be world tour if he was French or Italian. Anti-American bias working against him.
Kasper Saver 🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪🇧🇪
How is this guy so strong?
Havregryn og rugbrød, vikingernes nektar
Can anyone tell me who are the other big sprinters in this apart from Pederson???
Not many sprinters go the distance on a stage like this.
prize money for 1st place was 23,700 dogecoin
REMCO'S 50K GAP WIN WHEN?
American rider pronounced Tyler "St-eye-tz"...
First!
Pederson the best thing to happen to Trek since they bought out Gary Fisher LMAO
this is nothing Remco today attacked at 55 km to finish amazing
You don't know that much about cycling...go back and watch your football 😂
It's easy to look good when you're the big fish in a small pond.
A lot of red blood cells here
Welcome to cycling. First time watching?
What does that even mean?
that they're polytoxicomaniacs @@Nordic_Scandinavia
