Nice outing. Hear a lot of complaints about sites getting shut down, roads getting closed, etc. And it's so easy to pack out what you packed in. Those who don't care will cry the loudest as the forest service does what they need to protect and manage. They ain't the bad guys! Thanks for continuing to set the example.
Yup, I’ve seen several roads and sites get closed over the years. Too many people in a land of confusion. It doesn’t take much effort to pack out trash from a trip, a few bad apples are ruining it for the rest of us.
Beautiful spot, and that was so nice of you to help get your friend out camping more by giving him that great tent. And that was one crazy hole in the road!
Always a shame when some take these places for granted. Our local Walmart, which was a perfect stop for people for a nights rest heading in to Halifax for a day trip, had to put up signs for no overnights due to garbage and some overstaying their welcome. Finding yourself some pretty wonderful place...and what a perfect view to take in from the hammock!!
@@ElectricDanielBoone yes it was a pleasant surprise to see a dispersed site that is very well taken care of. I’ve been to that spot a few times over the years and it’s usually pretty clean.
Another cool video! I do have a question. I’ve spent the last couple months camping all over the peninsula. Without divulging any secret spots, can you recommend any general areas in the Cascades I can check out next?
Thanks. Well without being specific there’s usually some places to camp in the Greenwater area in the mid cascades and some places in the Cougar area more south, up north might try around Baker Lake.
Thanks for picking up the trash!! Gorgeous area!
Thanks, just doing what I can when I come across it.
Looks like a beautiful area! Thanks for sharing!
It is very nice there. Thanks for watching.

Yes it is a shame when a few bad apples ruin something for the rest of us. Some folks still need adult supervision as adults.
Very nice someone had kept that sight clean! Rainier is such an awesome mountain! 🏔️
