I was just up there for the first time last week. The prices are pretty insane on most items but somehow there were still some really good deals to be had. They didn't have the boxed Mark III in the junk section (I would have scooped that up) but they did have an unboxed Mark III with all the cords & 2 controllers for ¥6000, whixh I left behind. That N64 controller is an Ascii brand.
I used to dream of shopping in Japan for cheap hardware...these prices are worse than America! I mean they're sitting on a mountain of hardware at Hard Off, and with those prices how do they expect to get rid of it? The software prices for anything that's not in the case seem all good though (mostly)! Try living in the midwest...not even a single Famicom game for thousands of miles.
I luv watching your vids. They are always so informative. I miss walking around Japan and discovering new things. Maybe one day i get to go back.
Very thorough look at this Hard Off, always good to know the state of prices in Japan!
Wild how many Super Famicom games appeared. Must be some wanting to clear their collection. Wonder how many treasures there might be
Gotta hit west Tokyo Hard Offs. Quite a few have good prices as they aren't as touristy.
PS You kinda sound like Jim Parsons. Thanks for the videos.
You are the man for my Hard off fixes. :D
Wow crazy prices more than in Tokyo!
Gamecubes are still so cheap because the Wii is backwards compatible, only reason to own a Gamecube is for the GBA Player.
