Oh wow! Yet another beautiful property, perfect for a relaxing weekend away. I love the bath in front of the windows, but especially the skylights above the bed and shower - stunning! 🌠
I agree, These could easily be off grid and that roofline can definately support some solar panels. Thanks for the feedback, I 've just finished filming an incredible off gris retreat in north east Tassie. Will share it shortly, I think you'll like it! A fortified stone tower. completely off grid.
They forgot to include a comfortable sitting area. That built-in bench seat is not suitable for lounging. This cabin is apparently for people who prioritize bathing over everything else.
Wow, that truly is a stunning & very creative cabin .. we are just about to start on our new bush retreat and this has helped provide great inspiration .. Thanks! JT
There are some interesting retro design (1960s and 1970s) elements like the highly pitched non gabled roof, skylights, and exterior wood planks orientated vertically. However, the interior layout is odd with a bathtub in front of a bed and a bolt upright seated bench with a small table instead of a lower slung cushy sofa with built in end tables. I realize it is a cabin...but the bathroom would make more sense if it was walled off completely from the rest of the space... integrating the shower and bathtub as a single unit. That would free up space for a small dining room table to enjoy the view while eating. The raised wood stove is well designed, as is the kitchen.
You need to add one small contemporary slipper chair (matching the sofa) that can either create an L-space for conversation at the sofa or be moved to face the sofa over the table for a second diner. 😊
This is truly amazing. I recently bought a block of land in the mid-north of South Australia and this is providing a lot of inspiration of what I could do with a tiny home (if I had the cash that is haha!). But still, this is a really lovely and gentle video of this gorgeous property. That bath! Looking forward to exploring your other videos. :)
