Darryls voice is better than it ever was. I’ve taken to listening to his music in the past few weeks as I find it so comforting. Darryls House bar and restaurant is in my town but I hadn’t been there because life was just too busy. Once we can resume some kind of normalcy it will be my next stop for great music.
I wonder who the girl was on the keyboard and dining background vocals? I actually like her sound, can’t remember if Daryl ever used female voices in the background before Soul Alone. I like it. I love the entire Soul Alone album, I get extremely emotional in different ways for each song. When Daryl sings “sweet love” falsetto in the song “money changes everything” I just about lose my composure. Not from anything but experiencing vocal mastery. So many emotions and feelings come to me when listening to this album that sometimes I have to deny myself in order to get anything else accomplished 😬
I am so confused by the timing on this... Fitz and the Tantrums but video looks older on Hall’s part. Anyone have context on this video? Thanks in advance!
Yeah that is an old video of Daryl from like 93. It looks like the host is looking back and just showing this to them. That's what it seems like to me. Wildfire was on Daryl's Soul Alone album. Fitz and the Tantrums were on Daryl's show Live From Daryl's House too at some point.
@@2young2old you would've thought this was like late 90s to early 2000s and that Daryl styled his hair for this video. That's how good the quality of this video is.
It is awesome seeing a live recording. Thanks for this.
Loving this in 2022

Great saxophone performance!
MrCasual CharlieDeChant with Daryl and John from the beginning

Incredible Charles DeChant's saxophone performance.

Daryl sounds awesome. The background vocals are horrible.

I don't know. Maybe 92/93.
Adailton Abrantes definitely 93. It’s such great quality too
