I get a little tear (or full blown ugly cry!) when listen to this song, Sara Smile. I had a German Shepherd mix dog named Sara that used to bare her teeth and smile when she was happy! I used to sing this song to her and make her smile. I had her for 15 wonderful years and she helped raise my kids. The best girl ever. I still mourn her 20 years later. I have to smile through the tears.

It was phenomenal. People wrote requests on scraps of paper during intermission and Daryl picked them up, went through them, and talked about which ones they would add to the show. They looked and sounded like they were having lots of fun. Several covers. Marvin Gaye’s “What’s Going On,” the O’Jays, “Money, Money, Money,” among others. Over 30 years ago and the memory is crystal clear. THE. BEST. DUO. EVER. Daryl Hall is one of the best songwriters in the business.

I agree...voice is affected by age, I just turned 66 and was once a young classical soprano, now more comfortable singing lower range blues and rock, so I appreciate how a voice changes. It's not like playing an "external" instrument like guitar or piano (which of course are also affected by arthritis and such), but the human voice is an instrument in itself but also a body part that unfortunately ages

Of all the videos of this great song, I like this one best. How talented is this guy huh? But, it is not by accident. His Mom apparently taught him to sing and he's learned to play guitar and piano. Folks these things are not easy and so he worked very hard to be the superstar he has become. He really is an amazing talent. Reminds me of Don Henley and the late Glen Fry. Of all the videos of this great song, I like this one best. How talented is this guy huh? But, it is not by accident. His Mom apparently taught him to sing and he's learned to play guitar and piano. Folks these things are not easy and so he worked very hard to be the superstar he has become. He really is an amazing talent. Reminds me of Don Henley and the late Glen Fry. He is every bit their equal!
