Hello Tim and family, nice to see you back racing. Trying to maintain a fast-paced run in that midwestern humidity is really hard, and it feels like you’re not getting adequate gas exchange in your lungs. It’s not so bad on the bike because you’re forcing air into your lungs at 25-plus mph. Anyway, you persevered! You’re quickly going in the right direction.
Absolutely love you guys! Interesting that the last 6 miles or so suck on the run, even for bada$$es like you guys! I've done several 70.3's and competed in a full IM, but I somehow thought you guys were immune(ish) from the "suck"! You make it look so effortless! Would love to meet you some day! Inspirational.

I keep asking but .. Tim if ur racing on the Beta Blockers , ur seriously kicking ass .. once ur dr. takes u off them.. it’s night and day .. seriously.
Really bummed me out with lack of crowd support for the female athletes. And no women of color highlighted as usual in Ironman races. Hard to get this sport mainstream with NO diversity. So happy for Tim!!! Such a good dude

met them in person - three times. not nice people. they agreed to speak at an event, showed up 30 minutes late, and were, oh yeah, we decided to stop and sightsee - didn't even give the organizers a head's up they would be late. I get having a life, but that's just rude.
