To you newbie/ young guys that think your knees are infallible, be smart, wear knee pads. I’m pushing 70 and been doing this thing called construction for better than 40 yrs, and yes started as a roofer in the 70’s with no knee pads. Well six knee surgeries later I assure you I look back and call myself a stupid ass for not wearing um. Unfortunately they don’t do much for climbing ladders.

Exactly! Just because you don’t feel the damage, it is there. And all the damage you accumulated in your 20s and 30s will show up when your warranty expires at 40…
