Pianist Denis Kozhukhin: Prelude in b minor (Bach/Siloti)

Russian piano virtuoso, Denis Kozhukhin, performs one of his favorite encore pieces, Alexander Siloti’s arrangement in b minor of J.S. Bach’s Prelude in e minor, BWV 855a. Recorded in Houston Public Media’s Geary Performance Studio on January 26, 2017.
Special thanks to the Houston Symphony, which presents Denis Kozhukhin as the soloist with the orchestra in Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 3, January 27 - 29, 2017 at Jones Hall.

The Bach original is e-minor. The Siloti transcription moves it to b-minor.
