I bought a 47 inch Toshiba fire Tv 6 month ago, hung it on the wall in my bedroom. Liked it so much I just purchased a 65" for my living room. Great Tv!
if that tv you bought is great but it costs 3 times more than the Toshiba for only having an oled screen, this Toshiba model has nothing to envy the lg
Congrats guys! It's always nice to get a free upgrade. 😁 It's been 4 years since I switched from a non-smart TV to the one I have now (TCL Roku), smaller than yours at 55" but still 4K with Dolby Vision. I definitely wouldn't go back! The Fire TV OS is my second favourite after Roku, although it probably has the slicker interface of the two. Good to see Toshiba implementing FALD (full array local dimming) on their LCD sets now too, my last couple of TVs have had it and it really makes a big difference with contrast. But the best thing of all in my opinion is HDR and Dolby Vision! I work in video mastering so I'm a bit biased, but I would say HDR is more important than just having the extra pixels that 4K UHD provides. If you want 4K on Netflix you unfortunately have to pay for the most expensive tier ($19.99) but it is worth it in my opinion if you watch a lot of Netflix content. Thankfully other providers like Disney+ and Amazon offer it at no extra charge. For the best streaming quality, I would recommend a hardwired ethernet connection to your router vs. wifi if possible, otherwise you might occasionally find your stream dipping into HD if the wifi signal isn't strong enough. And finally, this is more of a personal preference thing, but if your TV has the ability to turn motion smoothing (also known as anti-judder) off, watching movies won't suffer from the "soap opera effect" that a lot of Hollywood directors hate. Some people like watching everything that way because it creates a smoother image, and for fast-moving content like sports and some animation it works well, but personally speaking I find it distracting. Anyway, enjoy getting to know your new TV!
Hey Wendy and Dustin, In these past months I've enjoyed your company and progress you've made for thw channel and I especially appreciate how you allow us viewers to be part of your little moments of life. Congrats on the TV, hope your Dog is doing well and I wish you both the best. ✌☺
Sooo awesome to see you guys got an upgrade! ❤️ You'll finally get to maximize every detail of the visuals you're gonna watch from here on out. Sooo happy for you guys 🥳
This TV is has amazing picture quality. I just got one and can’t believe how life like the picture is. I tried other TV’s and this is by far the best for the money. You could only get the same quality if you spend 2,000 dollars. This one was on sale this week for 499 dollars, 500 dollars off…
So happy for you guys getting your new tv. I got my first 4K TV this year when I bought my PS5 and things really do look amazing. Recently watched No Way Home in 4K and looks great.
My 42 inch 720p plasma Samsung I got in 2008 that I've been now using as my monitor and to watch movies so that's still chugging along. A couple little pixels are burned out that are hardly noticeable but it still gets the job done. I can't say I wouldn't want a 65 incher though because yours looks dope.
I just bought the exact same tv, I love it. Its also rather light in comparison to others the same size, around 40lbs no stand for the 65" is pretty light. My only complaint is that the see ring(doorbell cam), I have to use Alexa voice commands, there is no app to click on.
Congratulations on your new tv guys! Looks really crisp and amazing! Also, I agree, when you see Dolby Vision on your 4K TV, that’s awesome! Talk about bring the movie experience home! Ps. Look into getting 2 home movie theater seats with cup holders and speakers built in! 😉
You guys are so joyful and I love you’re guys videos especially you guys watching Marvel, you guys are my favorite people for me to watch marvel, hopefully that sound right and not weird lol, anyways you guys make my day, and keep on doing what you guys are doing, and sending so much love🥰
Congrats, guys! And wow that's a huge TV! I own a 50" and already sitting feets away, I wonder how much further are you guys sitting away from the new tv just to get an ideal viewing. Anyway, love you guys and your reactions. Keep it up! 👍🏻❤️
I love your review this looks awesome and you've sold this to me you should be sales person's you d be super successful at selling g things your passionate about...stay blessed stay awesome....from the UK peace one love
Congrats on the new 65" TV upgrade! 😍😍 Good review. I agree Dolby Vision HDR is really like watching a film with fresh eyes 🤌🏾. It changed my appreciation for some films/shows visuals. The Dolby Atmos tech is pretty impressive as well with a nice speaker system setup. One day, I hope you guys can get a small for-two theater room built if it's sometihng you'd like, you deserve it - speaking it into existence. Love it that you nerd out about tech specs because I do the same lol; thanks for sharing with us. Enjoy your new viewing experience!
Great review,I just bought the same 65 in 550m,it seems like somewhere on the UA-cam vids on this TV I saw a comment, and saw a red,and green light on the bottom right,to indicate power on and off, there is a small circle lens looking thing, with fire TV logo next to it,but I can find no info on it,thanks if you can help,if not I will call the tech line !!!
You skipped/edited out the best part I wanted to see. At timestamp 4:05 you go from opening the top to the whole top of the box being completely off. Also would have like to see you attach the stands
What are the best picture and motion processing settings? My motion processing whether set to on or off always looks bad especially with hdr content. It is mostly with motion around people's movements. Their hands and feet have pixelations around them during movement or gets jittery. Even quickly scrolling through Netflix titles for example will start to jitter the images, doesn't stay in clear motion.
Hey guys Love the video I'm considering eventually getting a TV like this one because I love fire TV I do have a question though can you add extra storage to the TV and how do you do it? Because I wanna make sure that I have enough room for all my apps thanks
I will be absolutely surprised if the very first thing they watch on that tv isn’t Star Wars related. My god watching The Mandolorian, Book Of Boba Fett and Obi-Wan Kenobi on a tv like that will be like staring into the face of god, or in the case of Star Wars the Mortis Gods.
We thought the same, since we just had a 46 inch prior. But we actually love the size of this and don’t feel overwhelmingly huge. Some people have 85 inch tvs.
@@TheMovieCouple Wow. I'm glad you are enjoying your TV though. Honestly I have considered the much bigger TVs, but I've realised a 32-inch is the biggest I want. I actually had a 28-inch for the first few years in my own place and loved that, but now that broke, I've gone for 32 inches and to me it is so big! Maybe I just like small things x

New toys are always the best!!! I just upgraded from my LG C7 OLED to a C1 OLED.. Im so pumped for yall!!!
Congrats! I upgraded last year to a 75" TV and love it. Everything looks so big and beautiful. It really makes a difference.
I have a 55 inch 2020 Toshiba fire edition TV. But I want to upgrade to the 65 inch M550 Toshiba. Ever since I got my TV I fell in love with Toshiba.
Congrats on the new TV. I myself upgraded to a 65” 4K LG OLED SmartTV a few months ago. The best purchase I’ve made in years!

As you use the TV, the screen will improve as it warms up. Can take a few days.
Nice upgrade, I always get super excited when I get a new tv.
That color did look like it popped. Congrats on the new T.V. Can't wait till you can game on that bad boy.

If you guys are able to turn off motion smoothing, I recommend it.
Great video quality though.

Cool review. I'm going to order one right now. Thanks for sharing. From NM stay safe and stay blessed. 👍🇺🇸🤙🇺🇸✌️
How could you have that tv for 10 years and not remove the stickers off the front ?
Says those people that never take the gold sticker off of their sports hats lol
I still have the original plastic wrap on mine. There's a chance I might sell it to buy a new one later. Helps with that like new status.
Didn’t even realize until we filmed this video. Ashamed…
I love your review this looks awesome and you've sold this to me you should be sales person's you d be super successful at selling g things your passionate about...stay blessed stay awesome....from the UK peace one love
That TV looks expensive and so precious, I will never take the sticky plastic off of it 😂
So .. how's the TV been . Thinking of getting one
Congrats on the new 65" TV upgrade! 😍😍

Hi. Can you connect it to a separate, stand alone speaker via Bluetooth? Thanks.

That's an awesome TV, very nice. And Wendy is 5'1? Maybe with heels on, lol
Looks beautiful! Congrats! When's the viewing party? 😉
Come over!
I've been thinking of getting this TV. The 75 inch version is 599 at best buy. Is that a steal?

SHE CAN NOT BELIEVE SHE IS SAYING THIS BUT YOU GUYS ARE THE CUTEST STRAIGHT CUP!!!!!!!!😚😘

Do you have dimensions on the box?

Ohh good question. Gonna research that to see
@@TheMovieCouple thank you please keep me posted because I would like to know before I get one loved your video
@@frankduxfan Upon a quick google, it looks like you'd just add a USB to the port in the back.
@@TheMovieCouple awesome maybe you guys could try it in a video or something keep up the great work
