This is a nice trip from the Te Aroha side as well. A bit longer, but worth the grunt.

You are right. I have done it via the Mangakino Pack track. Nice walk, on a not so busy track.

Someday I have to see New Zealand for myself.

Well put together Peter, lots of extra steps moving that camera huh?

Yep, I can make a 3 hour hike into something longer with all the camera moves!

@@OAPAdventures I’ve hiked in the way you came out after Friday work at night. Makes it more adventurous

Yep. A loop is nicer than in and out on the same track.

Very nice mate. Love all the different camera shots. Do you color grade your footage or was that the go pro colour?
    Cheers

Thanks. I record on gopro's flat profile and apply a simple colour grade. I still have a heap to learn about this, especially when trying to get all the footage to look the same. The idea is to develop my own style, hence the colour grade and camera angles. Unfortunately, Im not sure I know what that "look" is, yet!

Its a wild paint job, thats for sure. I dont recall anything similar on other huts. Thanks for stopping by and having a watch.
