I think the closest thing from anime is one of Rokushiki techniques from One Piece (All of these are superhuman, but purely physical feats in-universe, such as jumping off air (Geppo), making your body as tough as steel (Tekkai), sending forth an air blade via a kick (Rankyaku), and one one that probably inspired Shunpo - Soru, that does exactly that - allows the user to essentially blink a short distance).

I'm surprised you didn't reference Captain Jeredan card when talking about his LB affiliation, given the quote to the card "The battle cry sounds, and my feet are already turning over the soil. I need nothing but my lady's order to know my destiny and enact her will." ~Vanguard Firstblade. I think its pretty clear he's LB's follower. as a reference, his effect makes it on attack, he starts procing reputation. So when he finally reveals himself in a way... He's truly leblanc's.
Although his attack only starts proccing Reputation because he received a +1/+1 buff a few expansions ago. For the longest time, he was a 2/2 that grew to 4/4 on first attack, thus not proccing Reputation.

my idea for an interesting story would go along the lines of kat gets rescued by lux, sylas, or even garen and then they take her with them well shes healing and he still doesent know who she is or what she did although if its her and sylas it would probably make more questions then answers

I'm really happy that, no matter how small, Riot keeps a lore team and artists around to make comics. I'm even happier at how competent both the writers and the artists are. The only thing I can complain about is that there isn't more. I absolutely love League comics.
I guess Garen will rescue her and try to recruit her to help him get to Lux, since she's one of the only people within the Demacian walls who had any chance at gaining Lux's trust. Or Morgana just strolls over and stashes her because she landed where Morgana lives lol.

I also really love how the comic gives you a High Adrenaline, On the Run Vibe that fits so well with Kat's personality. I really wished they do a Star Guardian Comic bc of this. That universe needs to be explored
The old line of "met on the battlefield and kept away from each other" sounds like accurate medieval history of nobles in armor meeting on the battlefield and avoiding each other else they kill and uncle-cousin or something.
I hope Kat and Lux becomes super "Buddy friends" even though it might not be genuine on Katarina's part, and through that Garen and Katarina gets closer. May add a layer of "cliché Drama" since all of the perceived kindness from Kat is fake and you can build the story from that.
Anything involving Kat and Lux in a relationship will be be catnip for the exceptionally toxic shippers... some of whom are already warming up their desire for a Lutarina storyline. Riot would be smart to stay the hell away from that and focus on Garen x Kat (which is entirely based on the "Love at first Parry" idea) and a Lux x Sylas (that might be more than just platonic, though neither are quite conscious of it) x the idea of Lux marrying Jarvan (just leave Jarvan entirely out of it).

Even this one little interaction between Lux and Katarina has already started the toxic shippers to get loud - so making ANY kind of ambiguity in their relationship is just going to toss fuel on that particularly nasty fire. Riot would be best to put both of them in unambiguous relationships with other people, and keep them apart as much as possible. And when they are together, Riot should lean in on the idea of a healthy, ADULT (ie: avoiding Lux's old childish voice lines) plutonic relationship. (even if it is effectively negative, as Kat is Noxian and killed the King, so a positive relationship might be stretching things.)
I can totally see a mini-random encounter boss fight where you're going through the woods, see an injured and unconscious Katarina and the Raptor about to eat her so you jump in and Boss fight ensues. Cool to have a cutscenes at the end where you get overwhelmed and she just barrages it with knives to finish it off and afterwards joins your party. Would be dope
With the revelation about Jaredan it makes you wonder how much the worsening of the Mage persecutions is noxus fanning the already existing issues to push the chaos ... Dont get me wrong I am not saying Noxus is responsible ... the divide and the issues were already there ... but more noticing where things were heading through their agents and speeding things along making them worse ...
There's a chance we get Katarina's Shunpo explanation either from the comics or the game, it seems Sylas could be involved, maybe it is just me but I dig the idea that Sylas can give magic to others.

I love how in "A Twist Of Fate" they showed Katarina just teleporting all over the place, then in "A New Dawn" she only did something off-screen that COULDVE been magic and now they're like "naaah, not a mage". Probably for the better, anyway

The only problem with Garen and Katarina's ship, is that Katarina would need to keep her identity completely hidden from him forever. I really can't see Garen out of all people forgiving the person who killed his king.
I mean in all honesty, garen would not hesitate to kill Kat's leader, Swain, so i think he would understand that it was duty at some point. Also, kat didn't know what the king actually wanted, she thought he would continue killing mages and being a "tyrant" like she said. All in all, i think that they could become a couple but the issue is that, that would require a lot of attention and care from riot, something that is almost impossible to happen since there are so many champs that also require attention and care. Maybe at some point in the far future we could get something ...

Maybe he chooses Katarina, keeping her secret from Jarvan, his friend and his king, while also enabling the slaughter of mages by not telling Jarvan the truth about his father’s death Or maybe he tells Jarvan, and as Demacia goes to war against Noxus he is forced to fight against the woman he loves…
Comments here kinda worrisome as far as the disregard to integral parts of what makes characters who they are and shapes their personality, and tossing that away just for the sake of shipping. It's cool that this is something that's been long standing in the league community for so long and is still nodded toward, but idk how people genuinely think Garen would knowingly continue pursuing a relationship with someone who killed his king, if he ever finds out about it. This comic isn't necessarily the ship win everyone thinks it is and honestly I feel incredibly bad for Garen because if he finds out he let J3's killer go free it would absolutely destroy him with shame and guilt.
Simple... Because he doesn't know. If they fall in love or whatever and he discovers it or she tells him down the line, it can be a difficult choice. Garen is constantly torn between duty to his country and the people he loves, eg. his sister who as a mage he "should" hate. It seems to me a lot of people make garen out to be incredibly simple emotionally, when in reality he is pretty complex in the lore at least.
What bothers me is the integral components of a character's personality that was built FOR YEARS through in game quotes or previously established lore that had this factor in mind. This vid popped up randomly so I havent read the previous chapters, but why would Katarina behave so buddy-buddy with Garen or reflect on the dead soldiers right after killing them? She is a ruthless, elite assassin that is rather cocky, arrogant even, not that she cannot back it up. They show her psyche Garen out one moment only to then tell him about meeting his sister and a potential traitor. She doesnt owe him any explanation and she could have said anything else to make him reconsider chasing her and rather go to his sister. O.O "Oh what a nice stranger I see on this rooftop, with blades and skills to match my own, hmm what a coincidence!" Garen thought "Surely sightseeing only,. If she didn't let Sylas out and met my sister, but is now running away, what else could it be." OMEGA FACEPALM
No one would probably care bout this but Fun Fact: the reason i started playing League before (from Season 2 - 2018) is because a girl in my class was telling me a lore about this couples lovestory. Ah memories.
The enemies to lovers trope is a dicey one that sees far too much use and a mountain of mishandling, but when it's pulled off well, it is a thing of beauty. Seeing the traits your value in one who should be your enemy and ostensibly from a nation that refutes your nation's beliefs. Though, as is often the case, it comes down to execution. Let's see how it goes here. Katarina makes a VERY astute point about how undefeated royal guards have rarely been tested. Failure can be a way to truly assess someone's worth, and when you have the reputation of of unbeatable defenders, you may be deemed too valuable to risk where and when you could actually lose. There are always patriots on all sides. Though the wise patriots know when their nation is the wrong. 4:52 Mageseeker conspiracy? Noxians respect competency, so could be worse as first impressions go. 8:50 or just a plain old traitor/mole.
I think jared might be leblanc again. I atleast saw it like that when i read it myself. Doesnt make sens that jared would help lux get stronger with mage knoledg when swain wants to kill her.
Hi! Maybe I missed it and you have mentioned it in the videos, but I want to highlight a thing that I might have just realised. So when Katarina leaves both Lux and Garen she is saying/thinking about them as true Noxians. I think it is not just a gesture towards them about their aligned ideals. I believe that Swain or Noxus has a plan with the Crownguard Family, I think Katarina knew that after the invasion of Demacia the Crownguard family is meant to lead the "province" under the banner of Noxus and that is why she says the things she said in the comics. I don't know why she had to kill Lux in the light of this, but this is just a theory of mine.
Given the connection the guard captain has with LB and the general being Tianna Crownguard. They could indeed be looking to have Tianna be regent queen of Demacia under Noxian rule. And given that LB is sitting on top of Mordekaiser's tomb and just simply holding the door closed so he doesn't come back they could be looking for powerful magic like Lux's light magic to contain a potential problem

Comments here kinda worrisome as far as the disregard to integral parts of what makes characters who they are and shapes their personality, and tossing that away just for the sake of shipping. It's cool that this is something that's been long standing in the league community for so long and is still nodded toward, but idk how people genuinely think Garen would knowingly continue pursuing a relationship with someone who killed his king, if he ever finds out about it. This comic isn't necessarily the ship win everyone thinks it is and honestly I feel incredibly bad for Garen because if he finds out he let J3's killer go free it would absolutely destroy him with shame and guilt.
Simple... Because he doesn't know. If they fall in love or whatever and he discovers it or she tells him down the line, it can be a difficult choice. Garen is constantly torn between duty to his country and the people he loves, eg. his sister who as a mage he "should" hate. It seems to me a lot of people make garen out to be incredibly simple emotionally, when in reality he is pretty complex in the lore at least.
What bothers me is the integral components of a character's personality that was built FOR YEARS through in game quotes or previously established lore that had this factor in mind. This vid popped up randomly so I havent read the previous chapters, but why would Katarina behave so buddy-buddy with Garen or reflect on the dead soldiers right after killing them? She is a ruthless, elite assassin that is rather cocky, arrogant even, not that she cannot back it up. They show her psyche Garen out one moment only to then tell him about meeting his sister and a potential traitor. She doesnt owe him any explanation and she could have said anything else to make him reconsider chasing her and rather go to his sister. O.O

The enemies to lovers trope is a dicey one that sees far too much use and a mountain of mishandling, but when it's pulled off well, it is a thing of beauty. Seeing the traits your value in one who should be your enemy and ostensibly from a nation that refutes your nation's beliefs.
Though, as is often the case, it comes down to execution. Let's see how it goes here.
Katarina makes a VERY astute point about how undefeated royal guards have rarely been tested. Failure can be a way to truly assess someone's worth, and when you have the reputation of of unbeatable defenders, you may be deemed too valuable to risk where and when you could actually lose.

Hi! Maybe I missed it and you have mentioned it in the videos, but I want to highlight a thing that I might have just realised. So when Katarina leaves both Lux and Garen she is saying/thinking about them as true Noxians. I think it is not just a gesture towards them about their aligned ideals. I believe that Swain or Noxus has a plan with the Crownguard Family, I think Katarina knew that after the invasion of Demacia the Crownguard family is meant to lead the "province" under the banner of Noxus and that is why she says the things she said in the comics. I don't know why she had to kill Lux in the light of this, but this is just a theory of mine.
Given the connection the guard captain has with LB and the general being Tianna Crownguard. They could indeed be looking to have Tianna be regent queen of Demacia under Noxian rule. And given that LB is sitting on top of Mordekaiser's tomb and just simply holding the door closed so he doesn't come back they could be looking for powerful magic like Lux's light magic to contain a potential problem
It all makes sense now, because it's 'Demacia!'
