She’s always been fierce, she hasn’t walked the runway in a few years but she is STILL getting booked by major brands for campaigns more than 20 years after her debut. She was a favorite of many designers, including Christian Dior by John Galliano and Donatella Versace. Her opening of Versace SS 2016 remains the best Versace opening of the 2010s!

Semonova is so underrated. Don't know why they always grouped Gisele, and Carmen with Karolina Kurkova for being the trinity of the early 2000s, when Semanova had a better walk than Karolina. No offense.
@@Fedthebest75 Semonova had stronger and more aggressive leg power, hence, it looks like an actual horse walk, where she kicking each leg out as she gallops through that runway. Karolina is more stable, but some times a bit too standard, that it lacks identity.

But at her best (i.e. Versace 2004, VS 2003 etc.) she probably is my favorite walker out of them 4, and Gisele the one I'd like the least, although it's tough to separate them. My only problem with Natalia as I said can be the feet, at times she goes out of the line and doesn't have them pointing inwards, which is the principle of catwalk.

She has a much edgier facial structure than Carmen and Karolina, the former who is more of an elfen beauty, and the latter is more of a blonde bombshell. Plus, her figure was sexier than Carmen's, but on par with Karolina (though I personally like Karolina's body better since she has more pronounced waist, and is slightly taller than Gisele, hence longer legs, though Gisele's legs are more toned than Karolina's).
Being part of the trinity didn't mean only having a walk. Karolina was a powerhouse name at a very young age, opening major fashion shows, getting magazine covers all over the world, she was getting so much attention, she had a look that Natalia lacks. While Gisele, Carmen and Karolina were getting the attention Natalia was making mistakes such as cutting her hair and getting it blonde. By that time the "It look" wasn't the one Natalia had. At the time Karolina debuted in the fashion industry Gisele, Carmen and Natalia were already experienced models, so it is obvious that they had better walks. Plus she debuted at a very younger age than them. But It was just a matter of time. By 2001 she openned the VSFS at 17. And well....who denies that she completely stole the Versace spring 2004 show with that opening. I prefer Kaolina's "standard but consistent" walk than the "stompy but wobbly unstable" walk like Carmen, Gisele, Eugenia, Natalia, etc. Some walks looked forced, Karolina's looks more natural. To me Mariacarla's is terrible but most of the top 10's put her in the top 3. As if the more messy and stompy it is the best ranked it gets.
I might be wrong here but horse walk is faster, more aggressive. More like a stomp than floating down like in a cat walk. I'm not a model so I might be wrong but that's my take lol. Horse walk is fierce and their switch back is more exaggerated which is ideal when you want legs to be the focal point and not torsos..
