  • This video demonstrates how to set-up the push alert on the XmEye ( or Explorer CCTV )Application.
    Some tips for the setup,
    1, register a cloud account and select" cloud login". If your select " local login" it will have no " push alert".
    2, go to the mobile setting and allow the notification access to the Application.

    Hi there. I have set up mine. But when recieving mobile notifications and press start on the notification is comes up the following message "not find picture". Also when i get into the setting at "image config" i get error code 11406.

      Please note the system only support the app push alert with text message. It does not support the alert with the screenshot .
      Please login the system and playback the footage to watch what's happened.

      Step 1: Click the Forgot Password.
      Step 2: If you remember the answer to the Safety Question, enter it and click OK.
      Otherwise, if you do not remember the answers, click the Forget Answer.
      Step 3: On the next screen, scan the CAPTCHA code (the left one) using your mobile
      app (XMEye Pro), and enter the code into the CAPTCHA box. You will then be asked
      to set up a new password. Do remember to mark down the new password once it
      is reset.

    Nice video, I just connected mines to my mobile, do you perhaps know if the exmeye allows one to select a timer during certain hours and on a certain camera on the push alarm?

      we can set up the motion detect for certain timer and camera on the DVR motion detect.

    Hello my playback speed on the app isn't working. It does slow motion ok but when on 1x speed or 2x 4x 8x it just does slow motion?

      the playback speed can only adjust the video speed.
      If you want to playback the video with motion, you need to go to the system record setting, enable the alarm/motion record mode and go to the alarm setting enable the motion detection.

    I've had my Sansco system for 2 and a half years. Push notifications has never worked. I followed your guide and push notifications still don't work.

    My husband just recently bought a system to use this app and we cannot cloud login the other thing we can do is local login and we aren’t receiving notifications when someone is in our yard, we recently bought them since we are having people breaking into peoples houses. I’m just wondering if we are doing something wrong

      the local log in does n't haave the alarm setting on nthe app.
      Please register a xmeye account and select cloud login, then you can set up the push alert.

    Hi just got the xmeye app linked up to system sorted out the motion detector etc, it pings like mad at night presuming bugs ets flying can this be amended to avoid these

      you can set higher motion sensitivity, and customize the motion regions to avoid false alarms.

      do you mean upgarde the system firmware version? Normaly, we don't recommend to upgrade the system, unless there is a bug with the existing system version.

    Hello Sir, please there is a question I would want to ask you. After the alarm push notification setup, I do get the notifications but I am unable to view the video from the message notifications directly. How do I access videos direct from the mobile alarm push notifications messages?

      some DVR systems can only send alarm notifications with text message, you will need to go to the playback and accessthe video.

    Hello, thanks for your videos.
    The electric power suddenly turned off in all of our home included the Xmeye DVR. However, once the electric power turned on not all of cams appeared, also the storage device not detected. What is the probable cause?

      you can open the DVR case cover and replug the cable to the hard drive.
      If the hard drive still not detected, we guess it may be faulty.

    Hi mate. Ive tuned all the settings and detection areas down to a minimum but i’m getting hundreds of notifications. Anything i’m missing here to stop this happening?

      you can go to the main menu?alarm>motion detect and set the regions.

      SanscoDirect i’ve set the regions but no joy. Does lowest = lowest sensitivity or highest? Thats the only thing i’ve not tweaked yet.

      Do you mean the alert on the mobile app? You don't need to delete the alert manually.

      @@DrFlareside it will overwrite the alarm message. you don't need to delete it.
      If you need to clear it, you can delete the device from the app, then re-add the DVR device.

    Is there any way to have all my cameras recording through app at my phone. I don’t have a hdd on my dvr and i don’t want one. Thank you.

      You can manually enable the record on the app. When you exit the app, it will stop recording.
      It is recommended to install an internal hard drive for recording. You can buy an internal SATA 3.5 inch CCTV hard drive and fit it on your own.

      Anyway , having a hdd is not any good idea. It can be stolen or destroyed. I want any real time cloud recording or mobile recording. Can’t find any solution though.
      Or at least clips to be recorded when motion detector is activated.

      @@shanebyrne9155 Normally it is not recommended to update the firmware in a regular basis unless there is a fatal issue/bug with the current version.

      You can go to the main meny>alarm>motion detect and select the region areas and lower the sensitivity.
