Huh...where I live I've never seen the bar for washing used..the cloths pins though? Yeah those are still around and can be found easy..one day I MIGHT try this method just for the nostalgia of it all..assuming I can get some of the soap..I live in the south so a wash board ain't that hard to find at yard sales..might actually have one in my grandpa's shop..haven't been up to the top of it in a while, it's pretty old and I worry some of the boards may be getting weak as of late..also it gets either stupidly hot or outright freezing depending on the time of year and time of day. IIRC there's an old metal wash tub up there that my grandma recalled taking baths in as a kid..That reminds me one of these days I wanna try to build a wooden bath tub like the one used in Red Dead Redemption 2..I love old things like that..seems the older I get the more nostalgic for things I've never had or used I get as well.

loved this always make these so fun and interesting!!great job
Glad you like them!
I remember mom bought a washboard to use on our trip to Death Valley in 1969. I was 9 years old at the time. I don't remember seeing her use it. Probably used it in the tub in the trailer.
Cool!
If you do it, I'm sure you will appreciate what they did back then.
I can wash clothes by hand... Sometimes I need to when out on the road.
It does happen.
