It sounds like bethesda had the actors re-record the voice lines for some of the dialogue because codsworth is saying some of his lines with a different inflection.
I love the Codsworth voice actor in FO4, but god I wish they’d put another Codsworth on the map somewhere voiced by Matt Berry like in the series.
Also really wish they had Lucy somewhere as an NPC with a few voiced lines.
You missed getting the 44 magnum stub nose pistol when you left sanctuary if you had gone to the left there was a duffle bag with some ammo and if you had kept going along through the trees by the water there is a switch with some pipes going up the hill around some rocks you find a skeleton with the 44 and some ammo
I would love to see do full series
I finished the game on PS4 when it got released, then got all the DLCs later, never got to play them. Now i will at 60fps, so excited.
Performance mode around 22.00 minutes
Also weirdly quality mode actually feels smooth also, barely noticed when i swirched from quality and performance mode, they nailed both versions to feel smooth as. Il prob play in quality (slightly better distant objects/more trees when looing across the other side of the map)
Your copy of the game is bugged, delete it and re download it. I had the same issue with both modes being identical.
You do get the power armor early in the game, but to balance it, you need to deal with Preston Garvey for the rest of the game...
You can get the power armor by climbing through the roof of the church, without talking to Preston.

Vacuumed up every piece of loot I could plus all junk I could find. EVERYTHING. Yes it makes your play through twice as long but mid game twice as fun!

I miss spending about an hour in some run down supermarket because I’m dying a lot and figuring out different ways to overcome my situation then finally succeeding… only to come to the realization that I did ALL OF THAT in a rundown supermarket. 😅

I don't know If I'm reaching when I ask you to please read over the terminals....there are awesome stories hidden in those things...especially when scouring in a vault
Fun fact: The actor who voices the Vault-Tec Rep at the beginning of the game is Paul Eiding, who also voices Max Tennyson (Grandpa Max) in Ben 10.

I remember playing this on Xbox 360 and would get headaches so I stopped playing. After watching the show. Makes me want to play again and the story looks good.

Yes you can, unfortunately for the trophy hunters the trophies doesn’t transfer…
You get the power armor too early, but you barely use it since you need fusion cores to operate it.
Buy them, they're expensive but if you pick up all the weapons and armor from enemies you kill caps won't be a problem. If you like easy caps you can make a bunch of water purifiers and get hundreds of water every few days.
I don't know if you have already made a playthrough but I would love to see you play Ghost Recon breakpoint

I’m on Xbox series X love the update, only at where I’m leaving the vault and I’m so confused on the like 7 new quests right off the bat. I don’t play with mods
The early power armor is kind of overpowered.
Does the Automatron DLC still crash the game or the current gen fix it?
I couldn’t get into Elder Scrolls but Fallout IP I fell in love with the games, it was instant love. FO4 and New Vegas are the best IMO and I spent some serious hours in the waste land with these games. Currently playing my 2nd play through with the current gen update.
As long as the fps is stable at 30 it’s fine with me
I remember when I first played this I was picking up everything and was overweight. I was wondering why I can't run? Until I figured out the overweight system 😂

Are you able to change the long, drawn out aiming in these games? It’s what stopped me from getting into them. It drove me insane.

I always found it interesting how Fallout is supposed to be futuristic but everything in game is very retro looking. The vehicles are 60’s style and even the clothes are an older fashion.
Also for being the future, you’d think the technology would be less bulkier. Those computers are HUGE
It's a parallel universe, it's supposed to act like if in the 50s instead of progressing until now we used atomic energy to make robots and computers, the atomic war happens so everything is stuck in the 50s style universe.

I wish I had started playing this game now, cause Im already 41 hours in to the ps4 version and I’m not gonna be able to continue my gameplay on the ps5 update right?
You can transfer saves
Unfortunately the only way to get 60fps with performance mode off is to be connected to a 1440p display, if your playing on a 4k or HD display then your better off playing with performance mode on and you still get a dynamic 4k resolution with the performance mode, it will be standard settings instead of ultra settings but even when connected to a 4k 120hz display with performance mode off it will still only be 40fps, im using a 4k 120hz TV with VRR but am still playing with performance mode on so I get 60fps, so unless your on a 1440p display I would just play with performance mode on, I'll take dynamic 4k with 60fps and standard settings over native 4k at 40fps with ultra settings anyday, higher resolutions and improved graphics are great when the performance is good, but all these graphics improvements mean nothing with a low framerate, 60fps isn't even all that high, it's just decent, I bought a ps5 for the improved performance, the improved resolution and fidelity is just a bonus but I will always choose performance over quality, the only times I use quality modes is when resolutions drop below 1080p, but as long as the resolution is at least a native 1080p then I will always choose the better performance options
Anyone having an issue with quality & performance not being any different need to back out of your game and go to PS5 settings/resolution ( make sure you set resolution to automatic ) now you'll have both modes working as intended.
Has anyone been able to transfer ps4 disc data over to digital version ps5?
I haven't updated yet but as of... well always, there was no chance in doing so.
I never played Fallout 4 due to mates of mine saying it is such an amazing game, but the bugs are insane 😂 I think this is the best time to start playing Fallout 4, so I'm gonna purchase it

Have no option for quality or performance mode....there was no option to decide wether to download the ps4 or ps5 version.
It's under display settings in the game option.
And there aren't separate version.. well on Xbox I had fo4 installed and it just updated to the Xbox series x/s version.
...the game has the exact visuals (well tree textures have been improved) but nothing else has been improved, just added 60fps. ..thou I have noticed draw distance of grass is worse with this update on Xbox series x than the previous fallout4 version we had...
Oddly I can't see any options to toggle for performance mode etc? It's just not there on my settings?
Make sure you have the PS5 version downloaded

Most probably still playing the PS4 version of the game. There's a PS5 version but you got to pay 15.99. But Bethesda have acknowledged this. Hopefully it can be fixed soon.

apparently quality is better visuals but only 40fps. Performance is 60

@peteparker22 yeah the resolution is the same on both, but graphical fidelity is higher on quality i.e. grass quality, draw distance, ambient occlusion, ect. I would still recommend performance mode. Its impressive. I chose it over PC. My PC runs it at 1440 at ultra, but it ruined my mods. I was so pissed i bought it on PS5 and its been great.

Not free ps5 upgrade if you got the game from PS+. Sold my disk when I got it for free when I got the ps5. Real dumb you can't play the PS5 version without owning It outside of PS+. They had it for $5 a few weeks ago
