Weren't going to get good camera angles for this games, since NBC was covering the game. Good God, their coverage was downright pathetic after Ebersol took over(even though they were solid with NBA). So, if the Jets win this game they finish 7-9? If they tie then they finish 6-9-1? The Jets were raggedy and one close/controversial call had absolutely no bearing on their season. That missed call that Testaverde benefited from was in the '98 season. I remember seeing highlights of that game back then and I was wondering what the heck was going on. As for the '94 Jets, a win here could've possibly had them approach their subsequent games differently. They would win at the Vikings the week after, but they would do nothing but lose after that, starting with the fake spike loss to Miami at the Meadowlands. Sometimes, one game can make a difference. Given that the Packers finished in a three-way tie with the Bears and the Lions for Wild Card spots, one game made a difference for the Pack.
@@matthewdaley746 Johnson didn't have the defense or even the defensive staff he wanted in '84 (1st season at The U). There was a ref right behind Evans…he could see there wasn’t interference…….Esiason should’ve used Art Monk more as he was the better receiver. That said……..Go Pack Go !!!
So Pete Carroll, Rob Moore, and Jets center thought it was pass interference. Well, those three rows definitely give you a 100% unbiased view of the play, and of the one earlier in the game. What did the Packers nose tackle think about it? What did Doug Evans think about it? What did the Packers head coach think about? I'm sure they will give you just as unbiased and opinion. That one looks like contact as they were running, Rob moore does nothing to avoid Doug Evans and Doug Evans does have are right, according to the NFL rulebook, he does have a right to his place on the field. Just watch their feet in their legs when they get to the end zone you can see both players are slipping the players are in contact but there is no grabbing anything at that point. The fact that the quarterback comes to the Huddle and announces that he is throwing a pass to one player. If I'm the other wide receiver who has been busting my ass just as hard all the game long and I have no chance of getting the ball thrown to me, I'm not real happy about that. What if they double cover, what if Rob Moore falls down at the snap of the ball? That play wasn't the only play when they had a chance to take the lead in the game. They had many chances to win the game oh, they didn't. And, in truth, history tells us that. Better team won the game anyways. The end.

How does this change their season? They were awful offensively all season, ranked 25th in points scored. They finished 6-10. That was an obvious PI on Prior who never looked at the ball and grabbed Mickens, in fact it's more obvious than the one you're calling controversial. The one on Moore is close but if Moore isn't getting up throwing a fit, he likely wasn't dragged down. Either way, even if they win this game, they still lose their final 5 games and ended up finished the last 7 1-6 and they weren't in any of their final 4 games.
4:50 He wasn’t playing the ball and that’s why pass interference was called. 8:21 Not pass interference……Moore was not pulled down. Bottom line: the Jets didn’t make the plays that were necessary to win this game. If they were as good as they thought they were, then they would have dominated this game from start to finish (like 42-0). But guess what? They didn’t. I just don’t see where the controversy is. Also, the game officials screwed The U in that one game at Notre Dame. As dominant as Johnson's Hurricanes were in his final 4 seasons there, they left some titles on the table once they got going.
@marcus813 Yeah, conceivably, he could have, won, all, four, the fact that Dennis Erickson secured, twice, as many, just, by, showing up, is terribly heartbreaking.

The Green Bay 'Football' Packers vs. The New York 'Football' Jets. 1994
No. Just, no.
@@richardtherichard26 You say no, but there it is, innit?
I forgot Boomer was on the Jets. Noice video.
I forgot Art Monk was a Jet towards end of his career.
@@davidozab2753 Ronnie Lott too.
Brett Favre 3. Art Monk was the man.
Would be pass interference today regardless
Bad ball placement that’s why it looks like a slip but he still pulls him down and the ball is still catchable. Therefore it’s PI.
There was a ref right behind Evans…he could see there wasn’t interference…….Esiason should’ve used Art Monk more as he was the better receiver. That said……..Go Pack Go !!!
Sorry Jets
Look at the cornerbacks reaction, he meekly looks towards the ref, he knew that was interference and was expecting the flag
He slipped
The end.
9:38 Sees why this game didn’t get a lot of attention
Eyes were on Cowboys at 49ers
The 49ers, simply, made, "A, Deal, With, The, Devil," in 1994, and, it was time, for, "The, Devil," to collect, from, 1995, onwards, period.
@@matthewdaley746 The 49ers didn’t fall off completely after their Super Bowl win
Free agent losses were nothing to the evil one
1995: NFC West champ, #2 seed
1996: NFC #4 seed
1997: NFC #1 seed, and this was despite not having Jerry Rice most of the year when his knee was destroyed at TB in a game that announced the Bucs were no longer pushovers
1998: NFC #4 seed
All those years: 3 straight Ls to GB who were quietly rising. And I agree: if the Cowboys had managed to beat Carolina in the 1996 divisional round, Packers would’ve won that game. For some reason, Favre could never win at Texas Stadium. The Cowboys were injured to hell and there was a *LOT* of off field drama surrounding that team
1999: SF at AZ on MNF, *THAT* was when The Devil came to collect. The bounty was Steve Young
@@mjwatts1983 Perhaps, but, their glory days, were, finished in a hurry.
I wish the jets will quit "Dicking" around with their uniforms and stick with the Joe Namath superbowl 3 look now they are going with the "disco ball" emerald green look.
Robert Brooks, not James Brooks
Got pay back because they beat Seahawks on bougs Vinny T Touchdown!!
Any team coached by Dennis Erickson deserves the, worst, fate, possible, his entire career is a total sham, that simple.
Hated those green pants the jets wore.
Maybe some people need to study the rule book?
You need to score at least 3 touchdowns to have a good chance to win a game
I don't think it was pass interference they both looked like they slipped at the same time.
James Brooks? You meant Robert Brooks. Lol
Only in the NFL could you get fans thinking the refs actually want rural Wisconsin to beat a global megacity. Sometimes, refs are just bad at what they do. See Seattle 2012.
Said, before, bears repeating, if Aaron Rodgers does nothing else, sparing America from, The, Ben Roethlisberger, 2010, "Redemption, Tour," will, truly, cement the legacy of immortality.
I have to admit that I faked a drink for the spike.
But Dan Marino STILL has never won a superbowl. I can't stand when they bring up that game.
Tom Brady, lost, TWO, SBs, to, Eli Manning, who, has, ONE, career, home, Playoff, Game, win, and, he, lost, another, to, Nick Foles, there's, neither, rhyme, nor, reason, to, this.
I was born in 1994.
Refs got both calls right. Sorry Jets fans.
Those Jets unis were bush league
seemed like a terrible non-call
Packers always get the love from the refs
Except, when they're, not, see all the recent NFC Championship Games, that they've, lost, long list, a shockingly long one, really, truly.

No penalty. My Pack don’t cheat.
