Roland page says the LX-5 also has the new amplification system with the full digital path. I got a little confused by this review. All the 3 models should have the same Piano Reality Projection.
Hi, Fabiano, and thank you for your comment! Because of you, we double-checked that information and you are correct. The Roland LX-5 DOES include the digital audio circuit. We've made that correction in the description and we'll leave it in the comments here. Thanks for pointing that out! As for all three models having the same Piano Reality Projection, I just want to mention that they all have different speaker systems and amplifiers... so I wouldn't make THAT claim, but they do all have the digital audio circuit. Phew! These specs can get confusing! Thanks for the help!
Struggling to decide between the HP704 or LX5, any advice?
Hi there! I would definitely take a close look at the LX-5. The new speaker system is fantastic! It sounds ALOT better than the 704 (though we love the 704 too)! Worth trying them both out in person!
U have a comparison between the Lx-6 and the Lx -708
No because the LX-708 is discontinued and gone. I can tell you that the LX-6 has the new digital audio circuit, the new Piano Reality sound chip, the new touch-panel display, the new high-speed key sensors, and a new 5-speaker Piano Reality Projection sound system. The LX-708 uses the old Pure Acoustic sound chip, has the older push button display, features a key action with the slower sensors but with haptic feedback, and has a 8-speaker surround sound system. The LX-708 was replaced by the LX-9. Hope that helps!

great video. I'm hoping to buy a piano either later this year or early next and have been wondering about the differences between the LX and GP lines - this is the first video I've seen that compares the two ranges, rather than focussing on just a single range.
Your Roland Owner's Club sounds interesting - but I'm in the UK, so in it's current offering can't use it. Have you considered doing a cut-down version for purchase by anyone/anywhere as some of the things look interesting? e.g. just the downloadable content without the support package?
