For months, he wandered around the empty fields and roads, trying to find something to eat and drink while his body crumbled. With every passing day, Merlin´s condition worsened, most of his hair fell off, his skin thickened and oozed with infection.

I'm not a violent man but I would, without hesitation, unmercifully beat the person that allowed this to happen. Maybe it's not a person, maybe it's all of us. I do what I am able but maybe I could do more. Thank you guys for not seeing this dog as a lost cause and bringing it back from the sad door of painful death. I always thought that human beings take great pleasure in hurting or find enjoyment watching animals being treated so inhumane but then a group of angels come and show kindness to these poor animals and it just fills my heart with hope . Normally I can't watch videos like this because my heart is breaking and I can't stop crying and I think about the tortured animals all over the world.They have such pure hearts.I don't eat animals.I have a rescued Terrier out of Spain and it took over 1 year to get him into normal body conditions and even longer to gain his trust.I love him so much.He still loves all living beings. I rescued dogs for years out of the shelters. They want to feel and look pretty. The worst part is people do this to them. They don't deserve this. Does your child deserve this?
Neglect and abuse. And most of the medical issues: preventable with good care..and people around to step in early. Thanks all at VL for being there and doing what was needed..
