LUNA was found in the hills, with FRACTURES IN BOTH HER FRONT LEG… what was already a tragedy is even worse when we discover that LUNA WAS BLIND AND PREGNANT! We have no words…
The images sent to us by the rescue that found her and ask us for help are heartbreaking. We had to say yes… HOW COULD WE REFUSE?LUNA was in shock when she got to the hospital. The eight puppies she was carrying had died and we had to remove them before the infection killed her.
We are struggled to stabilise her before we operated her broken legs.. later we operated her eyes and she regained her vision.

Angie Chaney unfortunately Luna was unable to carry through. The pups had died inutero before she was rescued and they had to remove them. 😔

Dear B misch, My sister said the same thing once about puppy mills (abuse is abuse; neglect is neglect). I work in animal care and I said to her, “You can’t watch this, but this innocent animal has this forced upon them and they live it day after day, not knowing if they will ever be helped?” The very least a person can do is to watch this. Become humbled by and learn from the innocents’ Spirit. The truly strong stay united. What makes a person exempt from the facts of animal torture, neglect, fear, and abuse?

I always pray to god when i see such a poor and misirable dog this makes me cry a lot. Two months ago i adopted a poor and misirable kitten found in a canal !!!!

Wow just wow. It was absolutely heartbreaking watching her in the beginning. I've never experienced that in all the animal videos I've watched. It wasn't until I finished watching that I read the description because I was wondering what happened to the babies I was very sad to hear. But the best thing was to find out that she got her vision back oh my gosh are you kidding me that is amazing. And to everyone that had anything to do with this sweet baby getting to her forever home I'm so thankful for people like you!!

@@ceballosanna4291 Yes they had to. She was carrying 8 pups, but all were dead, and the infection was making Luna even more dangerously ill. Also the strain on her body carrying 8 pups would have been too much. She is so lucky she got all that help. And they restored her sight! How magic is that? Bless these people, and Luna.
Humans have been so cruel and still dogs are these forgiving sweet creatures. If it were me I would never forgive. We don't deserve such beautiful dogs.

I hope the bastard that broke Luna's legs and left her blind & pregnant in the mountains sees how proud she walked through the airport. I cried over her more than once! I remember her babies were dead, you gave her sight in one eye & mended her legs. You & your team gave Luna exactly what she needed & deserved. My prayers are answered for Luna.

I will never understand how we humans permit evil cruel abusers of animals and humans continue to cohabitate amongst us when they usually up their game becoming increasingly more cruel and more evil. Their human souls are evil untreatable cancer that must be dealt with swift and fast to prevent more evil harm at their hands. Laws need to change to ZERO TOLERANCE. It sickens me that legal system punishments are most often too light.

i too adopted a doberman from drain...she was tied and thrown there .....with broken hind (cant be treated ..broken ankles) limbs...beaten so severely ...has developed tumors and cyst in many of her body parts ... she has been living with us since last 3 years and recently she had developed vaginal tumor...i don't know how long she would survive but i am doing all whatever it takes to lead a less painful life....I can relate with a pain which Luna had undergone ....i don't know why we are turning inhumane... we should understand ...they have feelings too...they are so devoted to their owner ...that they happily sacrifice their lives without having any second thought.... Love them ...they just wanted to be loved and cared ....for them it doesn't matters that whether you are rich or poor...they will just always love ....no matter how u treat them...

Hi Patricia, Luna was in shock, and in terrible condition when she reached the hospital and her puppies had died. They had to be removed before infection set in. Luna almost died too, but they managed to save her and place her in intensive care. When stable they operated on her legs and later they looked to see if her sight could be saved.(.I think they saved one eye) I am thrilled that they managed to save some of her sight. I cried for her...it was very sad, Bless her. But what a delight to see her now.. Hugs

I worried I would never hear again from Luna...she touched me so deeply. She is probably one of the toughest, kindest and bravest dogs I have ever seen. She had such a big big big burden to take...and now she can left that behind. You made her life become a miracle and made me fell in love with her so much.
