So underneath all that weight he still had plenty of muscle. I don't want to downplay what he was able to do with his 52 year old body - to go through that transformation is definitely amazing! But not everyone can do so in 5 months and to that extent. He's a dedicated actor for sure!
He exercised 8 hours a day , including mountain running and swimming exercises. Plus the diet plan it all depends upon what you eat .check his another video where he said 70% is diet and 30%is exercise
