Man my wife and I loved this video. We were both laughing at you scaring Collette and her scaring you. Bro, I've driven trucks, Atlanta traffic and sales routes totaling thousands of miles a week and I have a great driving record....BUT...put me on a highway construction zone with jersey walls and cones everywhere I get gasps and flinching attempts to hit the imaginary brake from my wife. It's total mayhem, i get close enough to scrape the jersey wall with a straw from my window as she threatens me with death, lol. I just continue to remind her of how any wrecks she's been in with me driving, ZERO, when you have control of your vehicle it's simple. My wife wishes she could scare me but she does while getting us almost run over on I-85 in Atlanta by driving the speed limit. Keep doing your thing, bro. Won't be long before you're a Drift Champion. See you at Road Atlanta next year!

K20 at high rpm also sometimes has cavitation issues up near redline. Popular fix is using a type r or type s oil pump and pick I believe. Worth looking into

Collete was the star in this one... I can't see anything... sending it! Pure joy creating big smiles. Also... being passenger is definitely hard. I have no idea how rally co-drivers do that at such insane level and risk.
@25:38 I saved up and bought a bone stock S13 from someone that had no mods and it was glorious. It got totaled when it was parked from a Semi truck that couldn't go around a corner properly. Car had no weird things. I miss that thing
Seriously this was one of the best videos of all time I laughed so hard watching Adam act all crazy and then get legitimately terrified after Collette started saying she was gonna run the layout 😂🤣 I hope you both realize how incredibly lucky you are to find true love with someone who also has such a passion for your passion in life, my passion has been skateboarding for 23 of my 35 years and it has always made relationships extremely difficult when they realized how frequently I’d be traveling all over to compete and then to barely make enough money to just survive is the biggest problem 😂

On the K20 and K24, there is an oil pressure sensor on the VTEC solenoid that can stop VTEC activation if oil temps are too high (250F~ish) or pressure drops below 30PSI. The engine oil pressure sensor is below the VTEC solenoid and that goes off at 3-5PSI. I don't know if LINK has engine codes or not, but if it's the VTEC oil pressure deactivating it, it's code is P2646.

A K20A2 is 200HP STOCK. You have ITBs. Get it actually tuned. And if you think you're unhinged now, just wait when it actually gets tuned with decent VTC angles and ignition timing. Let Jamie tune it.

I've seen this engine hit 230 stock on a good tune, i-vtec let's you get a lot of juice out.
@AdamLZ full 3 inch exhaust , a header with a 3 inch collector , the ITBs and the oem acura RDX injectors properly tuned is 220-230 whp all day . The car should be over 200 whp currently, something is not the best.

197bhp stock the k20a2 makes. Itb should essily increase it to 230bhp. Check the VTEC solenoid. Also make sure the tiny filter isnt clogged.

My s13 had been vin swapped twice before I bought it. I tracked down the original owner and he told me that it was stolen from him. He located it, saw that it had been vin swapped and proceeded to steal it back and vin swap it again. Alabama doesn’t inspect cars if the title is an Alabama title. I have no idea if this story is true, but if it is I think it’s hilarious.
Also my friends and I have named it the ass13. The car is an absolute gem. Has natural weight reduction and the frame is questionable. It only sits on 3 jack stands on a perfectly level floor.

Rwd k20 owner here, the motor needs a real intake not ITBs.
This motor likes traditional intake and true cold intake much more + reliability.
Run it with a little extra oil for vtec in corners on the k20 (fwd motor).I use a clockwise motion sump baffle(drop in)and timing chain splash guard(for hard breaking).
Drop in cams from skunk 2 will blow your mind how much more it gives you.
I/H/E, drop in skunk2 cams, straight pipe to vibrant muffler and this car will be so sick!

I'm assuming the vibration is because of solid mounts. Some isolator rubber pads between the mounts and the frame should help a lot. Shoot even some old tire sidewall cut into a square would help.

I have owned my 95 s14 kouki for over ten years now. Slowly building it over time and had been experiencing some fueling issues over the last years and could not find out why! After replacing darn well everything we could, somethings twice, we decided to drop the fuel tank ( stock tank original to car ) to clean it out. In doing so we hear something rattling around inside, so we go fishing in and pull out an old rubber handled screw driver that had deteriorated over the years! Cleaned the tank, new fuel filters, and we have been perfect ever since. Kept the screw driver of course. Thank you to whoever dropped the screw driver in there and hit the F*ck it button.... lol
