Croatian Handball is for many years top of the pops...2 times Olympic champion, world champion, 8 times 2nd place (WC or EC), 3rd place cant even count...many medals go to Croatian Handball. They are not a joke at all.

Dear mr ex and current coach, there is no limit for arrogance when it comes to nothern Europe and who looks down on what they call balkans (I delibaretely wrote balkans with small letters and without a definite article). Croatia is all but balkans which has also a negative meaning besides the geographical one. The prejudice that is so Western, false and wrong considering Croatia. Have been seeing this kind of behaviour for some time from all allmighty countries lilke DK, HOL, SWE and ENG. Lately, Feyenoord players stated their true prejudice towards Dinamo ZG and England in the World Cup 2 years ago. As if they are not of the same cast and as such shouldn´t be allowed to play against these superior nations coz of some unsportsmanlike and discriminating reasons. Well, have then 2 separate championships, for the superior and inferior nations, just like in South Africa once upon time. Yes, I am being ironic and rightly so. Your prejudice is not due to the sport skills, although you bring it into the sports when it suits your prejudice and when you´re facing this small country. This has nothing to do with sportmanship. You have so much to learn about Croatia. Don´t judge them according to your prejudice, arrogance and their neighbouring countries. They might be so much more than you actually know in spite of your ignorance. What will surprise you is how Western they actually are and have been for many centuries although they´re located at the south-eastern frontier. Pay them a visit and you will definetly change your mind. Give them a fair chance and don´t judge them coz of your countrymens´ state of mind who traditionally and politically have a definite opinion about them and what is totally ungrounded. It ain´t their fault they are sourrounded by some Eastern or Asian influences you usually patronize. Don´t put them into a same box coz it´s more convinient and easier for you. You´ll be surprised what they have achieved in their past when it comes to tradition, history, sports, culture, industry and other branches in proportion with their size. THEY ARE AT YOUR SHOULDER AND NOT BELOW, mr ex and current coach, AND IN PARTICULAR WITHIN THE SPORTS! Enough!!!

@@markocroatia7630 Razlika u tome je kad muški naši igraju rukomet očekuje se prvo,drugo ili treće mjesto a naše rukometašice su iznenadno došle tu nisu bili u bog zna kakvoj formi i realno 95% Hrvata nije ni znalo da se igra ovo prvenstvo uključujuči i mene..prejako su ovaj turnir odigrale i svaka im čast!

Naravno da svi to želimo, 2018-e je dokazano da možemo biti opasan kandidat za prvo mjesto, no i srebro je rezultiralo dočekom kao da su osvojili zlato, što je super! Poanta je da kad netko ode dalje od očekivanog, onda je i emotivna reakcija žešća. Kad rukometaši osvoje broncu, to je puno očekivanije, a nekada čak i blago razočaranje. Od njih se očekuje uvijek najmanje polufinale. No, kad rukometašice od kojih se nije očekivao prolaz prve skupine osvoje broncu, to je podvig vrijedan malo žešćeg dočeka. Šteta što nas je pandemija zeznula.

@@reidunengh483 Norway have a great team, invest a lot in women handball, in Croatia situation is different, we only invest in mans handball, in women not so much..this team that won bronze medal literally did miracle, because a 12 of them are not a profesional players, theey are studying and working beside handball, they play in Croatian handball league annd earn only from 500-1000 euro per month. Only few players play outside Croatia and they are profesional handball players. I hope this will bring more attention on womans handball and investment of sponsors.. Whati is sure they already inspired a lot of young girls to start train handball :)
