    I'm so happy you guys love this movie. I'm 50, and this is still my all-time favorite movie. The date on the dashboard 10/26/85 was the Friday night that the movie was released. I went to the theater with my family that night and saw this- great childhood memory- I was 12yrs.old and in the 7th grade. All the kids loved this one, very popular .

      Don't know if the magic wore off, but I couldn't quite get into the 3rd movie. Often all the best ideas are tried in the 1st or 2nd movie, because they don't know it'll be a hit.

    555 phone numbers are reserved by the telephone companies for fictional use. There's a specific range, idk all the details, but 555 numbers are considered 'fake'.

      The Arnold Schwarzenegger action-comedy film 'The Last Action Hero' (1993) pokes fun at/parodies the 555 phone numbers that are used in movies (as well the story parodies the entire action movie genre in the film as well). Definitely worth a watch if people like action-comedy movies & Arnold Schwarzenegger. 😁

    Trivia:
    When Marty first arrives at the mall we see the name is “Twin Pines Mall”. But when Marty goes to the past, and speeds out of the farmers’s barn he runs over one of two small pine trees.
    Then, when at the end he returns to the mall the sign now reads “Lone Pine Mall”.
    There are many small details like this throughout the 3 movies.

    if you decide to watch the 2nd (of 3) make sure to stop at the "To Be Concluded" title card at the end of the movie. there is a short trailer for the 3rd movie since they shot #2 and 3 back to back. if you want to go in without knowing anything that is lol. loving the reactions, keep it up!

    • @gotreactions
      @gotreactions 3 місяці тому +2

      Yes, I feel it will make a better reaction for part 3 if you do not see the trailer at the end of part 2. With the success of the first one, they filmed part 2 and 3 at the same time, so they already had the trailer for part 3.

    • @MLJ7956
      @MLJ7956 3 місяці тому +1

      It was actually a teaser rather than a full trailer for part 3 at the end of part 2, it doesn't reveal much of anything that wasn't already said by both Marty & Doc in part 2 movie already. All anything that anyone will actually see (that hasn't been seen already) are short out-of-context visual action clips from the 3rd film with only one line of dialogue from an unknown character (at that point) saying "Hey McFly" with zero explanation or context for it. So the only thing a person can take away from the teaser is just how part 3 will look/sound like....the original purpose of the teaser (when shown in theaters in 1989) in the end of part 2 was to reassure audiences that there was going to be a part 3 soon & they were not going to end the movies storylines with the part 2 cliffhanger (because audiences would have to wait almost a full year to see part 3) and to hype them up for part 3.
      Nowadays, it is up to people if they want to watch that 30 second teaser at the end of part 2 or not. Does it really actually spoil anything, no, not really (like I said above, all it would ever spoil, is how part 3 will look like & shows various possible new characters visually with no actual context in their connection with Marty & Doc for that 3rd film). If people don't want to see what part 3 looks like, then stop it at part 2's "To Be Concluded" but if anyone does see the 30 second teaser (no matter if intentionally or accidentally) it isn't really going to spoil anything majorly important....I will say this, when I showed my girlfriend the Back To The Future trilogy (for the first time several years ago) and we came towards the end of part 2, I asked her if she wanted to see the 30 second teaser of part 3. She said "yes". After the teaser, I then asked her if she understood anything from the plot of part 3 from that teaser, she said "no, it gave nothing away" for her. I last asked her, "did it hype you up to want to see part 3?". She said "Yes, let's watch part 3 right now", and we did. 😁. Peace ✌️.

I guarantee you guys missed some small nuggets. I won't give them away, but I bet other folks in the comments already have because it's one of those movies that you have huge discussions with your friends about.
    It even left some things open for discussion amongst us nerds. Like for example, Marty went back to 1955 after Doc got shot with the bulletproof vest on, so..... what happened that time around? LOL!!!! ... so many thing that are answered but lead to more questions. Awesome movie

    This movie has aged like fine wine. It still, to this day, stands up as one of the best movies of all time. Great acting, great cinematography, great music, great writing, great directing. Good pacing, good jokes, good vibes all around. And all SPECTACULAR for their time. The second one is kind of hilarious on what they thought the future would look like, but also a great movie, the whole trilogy is an all time classic since all three do a good job of parodying the first one while making themselves completely unique. There's no clear "best" one. they are all fantastic.

Already I can tell that you are BIG fans of Christopher Lloyd's work in this film, and why the hell not? Yes, Strickland was the ship captain in Top Gun. "555-" became a running joke in Hollywood. Every tv show and movie used it for decades. Cordless home phones worked over radio frequencies. No cellular. No bluetooth. The Delorean is a real car, but it had a V6. It didn't sound like this one. This.movie was rejected by all the studios, sometimes more than once. They mever intended to have sequels, but it proved so successful, that changed everything. Then part II was 1000 pages, so they split it into parts II and III.

      It is a teaser rather than a full trailer for part 3 at the end of part 2, it doesn't reveal much of anything that wasn't already said by both Marty & Doc in part 2 movie already.
If people don't want to see what part 3 looks like, then stop it at part 2's "To Be Concluded" but if anyone does see the 30 second teaser (no matter if intentionally or accidentally) it isn't really going to spoil anything majorly important.
      I will say this, when I showed my girlfriend the Back To The Future trilogy (for the first time several years ago) and we came towards the end of part 2, I asked her if she wanted to see the 30 second teaser of part 3. She said "yes". After the teaser, I then asked her if she understood anything from the plot of part 3 from that teaser, she said "no, it gave nothing away" for her. I last asked her, "did it hype you up to want to see part 3?". She said "Yes, let's watch part 3 right now", and we did...

This is 100% the high-point of the series -- lightning in a bottle -- "super fun" as you observed, with a GREAT (and wholly original) story and many talented actors in top form.

    Back in those days they did not just go to the hospital like that. If you could not heal it at your home then maybe, but mostly there were doctors that you had to see first before they would recommend further if needed.

    Doc Brown saying what sounds like "jiggawatts" wasn't intended to sound made up. The script said "gigawatts" and they thought that was the pronunciation
    Words like "gigabyte" were not yet widely used, and "gi-" are often pronounced "ji", like "giraffe". And gigawatt can indeed be pronounced as Doc does it.

    By blurring Lea Thompson’s low-cut dress, you actually made it look like she was totally exposed in the car with Michael J. Fox. Also, see any one of Jimmy Kimmel’s “Unnecessary Censorship” videos to see what I mean.

    Excellent presentation… more UA-camrs should have the movie fill most of the screen instead of themselves. It really seems like we’re watching it together! I hope you guys get a Patreon soon so we can watch the whole movie with you.

    My second favorite trilogy of all time. The only reason it's not #1 is because no trilogy beats Lord Of The Rings.
    Y'all are going to spend a *lot* of time blurring parts of American movies if you have to block something as fairly modest as Lorraine's strapless dress. I understand that you probably have personal reasons for doing so. Not complaining just a friendly warning because the newer the movie is or if it's a summer movie with bathing suits y'all have a lot of work ahead of you.

    I’ve just discovered your channel so I’ve been watching your reactions out of order, but this might be one of my favorites. I honestly didn’t know if you guys would like this because Marty only traveled 30 years back in time and it’s been nearly 40 years since it was released! There are a lot of references/jokes that were funny in 1985 but are confusing to 2024 audiences. I was happy to see that the humor and the story still work despite their flaws. I’m so sorry about the stereotypes. If you liked Doc Brown I recommend you watch Who Framed Roger Rabbit, Clue, and The Addams Family. 😄

    I watched it because, being Polish and I was curious about the reaction of Arab representatives to an American film from the 1980s. Even in the US, cinema was not as liberal as in communist Poland, but naked breasts or buttocks were not a problem. You, however, censored even cleavage and kisses. I didn't expect that. I watched the reaction of Hindus to this film and they did not introduce such censorship, and they are also conservative. Hindus in other films didn't even censor naked breasts.
    Well, but after all, I was curious how the Arabs would react, and I already know.
