Gandhara has nothing to relate with Kaandhaar. Gandhara civilization was based on border area of Panjab and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. while kandhaar district is near iran border. Original pronunciation of kandhaar is very different from Gandhara. Roman letters can't correctly the persian word Kandhaar.

This happens when People to people get connected beyond religion walls
With very small population (4 crores) & vast area(6.5 lakh sqkm) of resources, agriculture mineral trade support from all directions US sanctions look meaningless. [Compare with Rajsthan double population 7.8 crore & less area 3.4 lakh sqkm]. Despite destruction & negatives of decades of war against superpowers & NATO, Afghanistan seems to be recovering very very fast. If another destruction is not imposed it is poised to become as rich as richest European nation. Their Talibans who come from ordinary common folks, have extremely good rapport with rural areas. That's their invincible power. But some Urban areas have differences with them. There's no doubt due to their origin from common poor folks Talibans are more sincere to people & less dishonest. What killed previous government's popularity was extreme dishonesty & looting by both Ghani & Karzai. Peace & progress should be the norm for a stable Afghanistan even if it's under powerful Talibans-Thats what local people have accepted. The world must respect it & not trouble Afghans again, despite ideological differences with them. Wish you 'Good luck' Afghans.

Regarding the women, pashtun people are relatively more conservative compared to the Persian speakers, regardless of who is in the government. However I hope they realize the importance of women's education and at least open girls only schools
Girls are at University. Private schools for girls of all ages are open. It's just senior girls schools where the opening is temporarily delayed.

In southern part of Afghanistan specially pashtoon tribes women don't go outside without any immediate work but they study and do shopping but northern cities like kabul herat mazari sharif which belong to farsi tribes they go out side more so it's a culture before taliban as well. yeah it's our culture so deferent from other countries but we like it ❤️🇦🇫🏳️

@@samsulkhan5080 it is safe, peaceful amd we are free and happy but the cruel US sanctions and US theft of Afghan assets are making the humanitarian crisis which started under the US-Ghani regime horrifically worse. Thankfully, our new government is honest and hardworking for the people but their hands are tied with sanctions but despite all the challenges, they are working hard to rebuild Afghanistan and build the economy. This new IEA government inherited a war torn, bankrupt, looted country which was aid dependent and with a barely functioning economy and there is constant US interference and EU interference. This government is in it's infancy and it will take time to turn things around. There has been many positive developments, like infrastructure built and projects started, initiatives put in place etc Come visit Afghanistan.
This was the city of the mother of Kauravas which was known as Gandhar and her name was Gandhari 🤏🏻
