Nutrition Sensitive social protection across the Humanitarian-Development-Peace Nexus

Currently, country experiences vary regarding social protection operational modalities to improve nutrition across the Humanitarian-Development-Peace nexus - as well as the complementarities with other sectors. There is a need in identifying lessons and policy recommendations to ensure social protection addresses the underlying and immediate causes of malnutrition
In this regard, FAO in Geneva, in collaboration with the World Food Programme (WFP), organized a dialogue on Nutrition Sensitive social protection across the Humanitarian-Development -Peace Nexus. This initiative is a collective effort involving the FAO Liaison Office in Brussels, the FAO Inclusive Rural Transformation and Gender Equality Division (ESP), and the FAO Food and Nutrition Division (ESN).
The dialogue aimed to gather governmental and non-governmental stakeholders to discuss and exchange knowledge to inform a more coherent approach to social protection for food security and nutrition.
