Hi Matt, thank you for watching buddy, I glad you enjoyed parts of the film. You are correct it would be very terrible practice if the fish was left in the sling for far to long, however, I don’t actually say what time it was when I held the fish to camera……. It was around 5.30 in the morning so the fish had only been in the sling for about 5 to 5 and a half hours max, in cool temps. Fish welfare will always be a top priority and I certainly would not plaster it on UA-cam that I was using bad practises. I do completely share your concern and you are correct to question my actions so thank you
Hi mate - good VLOG I enjoyed watching. Peg draw is the worst part about going here but doesn’t always mean a blank! Can I ask what drone you use? I’m looking at getting one but nothing mega expensive. Cheers 👍🏻
I agree with you! I had real issues with it and tried to recover it the best I could. Thank you for watching what you could of it, I will hopefully be able to do better next time.
Thank you for watching. It does unfortunately. I had issues with the audio on this one and done my best to save what I could. The problem will be sorted for the next one.
Another top video mate 🐟🐟can’t wait for the next one 🎣🎣

Good video mate. Can I ask what time of the year you were there? Thank you.
I’m glad you enjoyed the video. Thank you for your comment. This was filmed in July 👍
Thank you. I'm booked on in July 2024. Will be my 1st ever trip abroad. I can't wait.
Good video but when you catch a fish at midnight then sack it up till first light surely that’s not good practice 🤷♂️

Sorry for the long delay on reply. I used the DJI mini 2 but have now upgraded to the DJI mini pro 3
don't you get choice of 2 swims to fish if you come last in draw and you can move between them or is that just on gigantica main lake?
I see that on a recent video but in all my years have never heard of it or seen it happen.
9.46 your words not mine
Yes they were my words 👍
How long are you sacking those fish???
About 5 and half hours buddy. Caught around midnight, out just after first light which was around 5.30.
