I really like NMIXX. From O.O to DICE, i liked both songs from the first second mainly because of the bold unique crazyness i think they're showing. That "3 songs in 1" format and them embracing it haha i think that's great! It's different.
At first I love the melody and vocal, then after I listen to the instrumental version separately and come back to listen to the full song, it hits totally different now omg I love Nmixx

i hated o.o like i never hated any song and after watching stages and choreo practices it reallyyyy grew on me and now i love it. dice is an instant hook tho

O.O had to grow on me and I ended up liking it a lot, but I liked this right off the bat - People wanna keep hating cuz if they admit that Dice is actually good then they can’t be a part of the trend to hate on Nmixx. Gotta be deaf fr, that “big wave” part and dance break was some of the hardest shit I’ve seen in a minute!
The song is fine, it just needs to be arranged way better. Also transitions are really bad. I don't disliking nmixx songs is a trend lmao

from a production standpoint this song is INSANE theres so many intricate details that may throw people off but ultimately serve the same concept sonically really good comeback so far
I think if people knew that there would be multiple change ups going in then the experience would be better for them as they are prepared for it. Someone going into this cold would be like, "Um, what the hell is this???" because they're not used to it.
IMO, JYP decided that "Mix-pop" was going to be NMIXX's thing. A way for them to really stand out. But it turned out to be for better or for worse. Some can't stand the switches. But these girls are super talented. I think they would have stood out even if they followed traditional kpop norms.
Also, let me clarify. Being prepared for the changeups does not mean people would like the songs. But it is at least less jarring.
Me? I stan them. Lily's and Haewon's vocals are weapons-grade. But all the girl's rock it. Kyujin was the big standout in DICE and she's a 16 year old Maknae. Imagine how good she'll be when she's seasoned?
totally agree lol, ppl still keep talking abt getting rid of the switch ups but its their concept and its pretty cool, they can just not listen to them
@@nuna143 I’ll be honest. I was one of those who wasn’t prepared. I actually wasn’t a fan of the intro to O.O. And today it’s still my least favorite part of the song. But the rest is beautiful. And after learning about their concept, things made more sense.
I just wish people would be more open minded about the KPop industry trying new things. Well, not super new. Aespa’s Next Level had drastic changeups. And Savage too. But those are just two songs. Not every song.
Oh, and I loved Tank right out the gate. Song is straight fire.

sooner or later, we might get tired with the same traditional music and concept. Nmixx just secured this mixxpop genre and this might be a thing in the future. Their songs might be disliked for now but I can see that everyone can get used to this genre when they're tired hearing the same traditional music in every group over and over again.
This exactly but then again even knowing it I feel like people turn a blind eye to the whole nmixx concept and just throw hate . Like most want every kpop song to sound alike . They are never satisfied

I like dice so much! I personally like “O.O” and “Dice” really much! “Tank” I am not a huge fan of but is still an amazing song! I like they way NMIXX is going with this song and this is only there comeback fantastic love it 🥰

I too hated 0.0 consistently from the first time I heard it, until recently. Somewhere along the way it got stuck in my head, and now I think it's amazing. It could be because I watched too many lives of them, they are without a doubt the strongest live vocal girl group out right now.

NMIXX is my favorite 4th gen group. I have been watching every content that came out.
All I can say is that as a rookie group, they are arguably the best, talent-wise.
Everyone can sing, everybody can dance. What’s missing is someone who can rap in english.
I want to watch them more live rather than the MV. Watching them perform is a blessing. They have that umphh. They have that command on stage! I really hope JYP doesn’t waste these girls. They have that Blackpinkish thing with them.

I would’ve liked this song more if the 1st and 3rd chorus the brass wasn’t so loud, its hiding the girls vocals and sonically being a lot but Lilys part though in the alternate chorus just wow

I think NMIXX is one of the most talented groups right know, their vocals are top tier, all of them are really strong dancers and they are really stable live. I liked dice way more than O.O but I still think their music is not for me hahaha
In my personal opinion any one who genuinely hates O.O you either are hella riding the hate train or haven't listened to O.O more than 3 times maximum to have any valid opinion. Idk but that's just me
I'll be honest I like this group, their vocals are amazing and the dancing is great BUT their songs feel so all over the place to me, I really try to get into their music cause I see the vision but it always feels discombobulated to me 🥴
If you want a, uh, "single genre" song, the new B-side, "COOL (Your Rainbow)", is straight R&B goodness.

Same. I really like the girls, they’re incredible dancers and I think they could go really far in the industry but I’m so confused every time I’m listening to their songs. 😵💫 The song I like the most is Tank but even this one was a little all over the place (less than the others imo) 😅
