My camp, Bear Island Campground, Big Cypress National Preserve, Florida, January 2021

A brief look at the outside of my camping set up in its current incarnation complete with the dry season dust out back on my Outback from the twenty miles of dirt road that leads to the campground. Big Cypress National Preserve is part of the everglades just north of Everglades National Park and is home to Florida panthers, black bears (that's bear spray hanging on the door of the trailer), alligators, and all sorts of other wildlife.
