This was a good move because you got some good content and some brownie points from the community :) However, I wouldn't have returned it, simply because they found out you were a content creator and took advantage of it. Guy didn't even offer you anything for your time and gas due to his own mistake.
Even if he did look it all up and change his mind, you did the right thing, the high road is always the best road!

Recently had someone reach me on my eBay so they could buy back a golf club I purchased from their garage sale. I don’t know how they found my eBay though, because I never mentioned it or listed anything else i bought from that sale

Obviously can’t tell what actually was under the headcover but that was a Bridgestone headcover and the putters go for good money depending on model. During the church sale.
I forget what the putter was but I did check it out at one point and it wasn't worth it.
But, I'll definetly keep Bridgestone putters in mind though.

@@mjj8560 I don't feel I rip people off. I have went back numerous times on this channel and given extra money. However, it's typically after I realize how much more value there was to a lot later on.
I understand people see me buy something and see a comp and think it's wild how little we're paying. However, there is a huge difference is venue. Ebay requires a fair amount of work to get the item in front of a buyer and properly sold, handled, and shipped.
The vast majority of the people I'm buying from will not put their items on ebay. Thus, they will not get ebay prices.

You're making an assumption that all of these people are idiots and don't know that items can be sold for more on eBay, and they need rescuing from a random idiot in the comments section on UA-cam.

If you mean on the Wii lot. Wii lots without any good games are really tough to sell and actually make anything on. So, my offer was fair.
...and thats how these resellers catch u off guard, and get u to part with stuff that u dont know the value of, or have time to look the value up. That man had instant regret and got his items back.
My intent isn't to catch people off guard or any of that. If it was I wouldn't have responded to their polite request to undo the deal.
That's right! We all get together in our swamp lair and discuss and debate the best ways to rip off rubes having yard sales, and how to avoid the vigilantes in the comments section sitting on their ass trying to foil our master plans. Cincinnati Picker and Commonwealth Picker are the leaders, and Dustin and Jessica are in charge of conceiving new ways of ripping people off. Of course, ADHDave is our official mascot.
