Keep in mind that you can easily purchase a R to M lens adapter by Leica to use the R lenses on your M6. For example, I have the Leica R Apo micro 100mm lens which I adapt to my Leica SL2S.

The R5 is a sexy looking camera, even if it's not an M. Hehe.. I've read that the body is made of zinc btw, not plastic. Same as the M6.

You can't go wrong with German engineering. I love my Leica system.

The film advance lever is metal with plastic cover, not plastic.
The build quality of R cameras are in pair if not better in some cases then M cameras.

??? R mount Leicas are mainly SLRs based on Minolta XD 11. Leica M cameras are rangefinders. How exactly can a SLR be an alternative to a range finder?

Yooooo...tell me why i rewound the video like 5 times to hear the shutter. It sounds sooo good. It's not a normal mirror slap. So do all R5 have that light leak issue??? Aint gonna lie, I'm gonna do some research on this camera now and maybe pick one up in the future. The image quality of that person tryna dunk is soooo good. Which lens was that??
