It doesn't matter how long your travel day is; packing up is still one of the most important tasks that has to be done. In this video, Belinda shows how she gets the inside ready for travel, highlighting one of her favorite products for keeping decor in place, Museum Putty. Duane shows what must be done outside to prepare the camper for travel. Even though our travel time was only 30 minutes, we included a lunch stop at a rest area complete with generator service. All of this prep was done to safely "ease on down the road."

The puffy looks like it’s an awesome idea. I’ve been using gorilla two-way tape and command strips and everything that I have put on the walls and the countertops for the last year has not moved so there’s different ways to keep your decor and flowers and pictures sturdy😊 I’m enjoying watching you two live your best life❤
I have some of that double sided extra strength tape too but I like the putty better.

This video shows the only drawback I would have living full time in a RV. Most places you stay have a two week minimum. Packing and unpacking every two weeks to a month, personal I couldn't do it after a while, because I bore very easy, which would cause me to fall into a rut.
Packing and unpacking becomes so natural that it doesn’t even bother us anymore.
Y’all make me want to go get out RV and just park it in front of the house so I can just sit in it 😝 loved the video. We heard about that putty and that it was amazing!!!

It works really well. I will keep it on hand from now on.
I always do 2 walk arounds after we are totally hooked up. On the 1st walk around I lock all doors on everything. 2nd round , I do a scan of the whole trailer. Before the 1st walk around i visually check the tires, leaf springs and shackles.
It is very important to do that. We have done it for years.

Hi , I have been doing rving for going on 9 years now the best advice I can give you is get new tires for your RV get LT tires the ST tires are junk they put LT's on airstream. 👍👍

I’ve thought about doing that but my question is about the dust how do you dust around it sometimes we go to campgrounds that are really sandy or dusty it’s why I haven’t done that but a friend told me she gorilla glued here’s but I have t pulled the trigger please let me know how it goes . Ruth, I haven’t had any issues with dusting or cleaning around the items. I like the putty because it doesn’t mess up the furniture finish. Gorilla glue might mess it up.

I have a Kobalt compressor from Lowe’s. It’s not installed. It just sits in the bay. I’m looking for another one because this one only pumps the tires up to 120 psi. My tire go up to 125 psi.

It really depends on the terrain. I would say about 9 or 10 mpg on average.

Some campgrounds have rentals and will being them out and set them up. Check around in your area.

Why did you all decide to go full time?
We started talking about full-timing about 5 years ago. At that time Duane was still working. When he retired 2 years ago it came up again. Now we were both serious and ready to downsize and become full travelers. So, we got rid of a lot of stuff and hit the road!!
