The residents of VI are entitled to know how your tax dollars are spent. They cannot keep it secret. It’s public record. Ask your representatives and if they’re not forthcoming start a petition demanding an accounting. Call them OUT! The squeaky wheel gets greased.
As someone stateside that's interested in moving to the USVI after graduation, I just want to say thank you for your content! It's so interesting being able to learn about the current state of affairs on island from a local. I don't know if you take video suggestions, but would you be open to making a video about how locals feel about people moving to the USVI? Do peoples feelings towards transplants vary depending on the island or their generation?
Ask your ''Current'' GOVERNOR where is the money going . Ask the construction companies that bid, and got the contracts, why is it taking so long to start repairing etc...I do not live in the VI, but why keep voting the same people in office, if they didn't do anything in 4 years, why vote them in for another 4 years?????
Just going to throw this on the table, but why doesn't the local government purchase the property on 7g/7h Dimand Qu and convert it into a school? I don't know what they've spent or paid out to repair the damaged school, but this would get the kids out of the temporary (temp-permanent) buildings.

@@rln2u facts. The hurricanes Irma and Maria were in 2017 and several schools have yet to be rebuilt!
