- I've been meaning to respond to this for a long time. It bothered me that Farid used a former friend of mine to slander me and make me look like I was a bad Muslim. It's such a desperate tactic and that shows how empty handed they are. Enjoy!

Thr fact that a counsellor openly shares confidential discussions is alarming. Unless the circumstances necessitate breaking that trust (someone is in danger etc), a counsellor should NEVER do that

Just petty “got yas” which is why it’s so hard to swallow that he would break the strong trust which is the foundation for counseling, for such a petty slander. At least if it was something worth “exposing” it would be bit understandable. At the point someone starts attacking the person instead of the argument, it is utterly clear they have no ground to stand on - Farid and Arij do exactly that and hence subvert the thing they are trying to protect (Islam) themselves.
Also, reserving the right to attack persons who disagree with your (dead) leader while you turn to violence instantly when they attack your leader is a perfect example of double think.
In conclusion, let me dish out a "personal attack" on supposed Allah (I don't believe he exists, so IMO no real personal attack): For him not showing himself to the masses even once in 1400 years, but being perfectly content with a load of old texts saying there was some man who said he met a supreme being who again said he was the messenger of a supposed god, shows how that supposed Allah is lazy and inconsiderate and must enjoy all the confusion and suffering he causes to mankind.

My ex husband obsessed in the same way on the personal insults rather than being able to contend with any prospect of my valid intellectual concerns.
I have to take medicine x4 a day (with food and water) so makes fasting impossible. I also used the same arguments about intermittent fasting. BUT apparently I was too lazy and weak and making excuses. These indoctrinated Sunni fanatics can’t consider that you might find holes in their logic,,,, AND ALSO find their judgemental intolerance repulsive.

Why are they keen on personal issues when discussing religion. They have nothing better to talk in this religion other than the false stories through the hadees. Ideology can be based on economic, political, or even racial platforms. The 19th century "laisez-faire" capitalism and "social darwinism" (something never advocated by Darwin) justified forcing the poor to work under dangerous conditions and at starvation wages. Lenin was ruthless in his bid to establish Bolshevism in Russia. Stalin and later Mao, Pol Pot, and the Kim family killed tens of millions of people. The Nazis murdered millions of Jews and other civilians and plunged the world into another world war. Even the many, who were not zealots for these causes, tolerated or went along with these horrors. Now some would consider these ideologies to be religions, and others see religions as just more ideologies. If that is true, then we agree. If not, then I guess we don't. What do you think? Even if it was true that you left Islam for a petty reason, that’s your private business. No one should have to justify why they chose to leave religious beliefs behind. It’s a matter of conscience.
To be honest, Islamic hardliners aren’t okay with you leaving Islam period - regardless of the reason. In their opinion, dissenters need to be silenced or even eliminated.

I was in Egypt, it was hot about 50 °C, a person in such temp should drink a lot of water and the whole country was in Ramadan so during the day they drunk nothing. I doubt it's healthy.
For your information many Muslims (especially the men) do not fast. But they refrain from eating in public or let it be known that they eat. I've found out about this when I started working. I knew of this when I was still in school but didn't know it was so widespread. But no one will admit it

Aarij Anwer, stop lying. You are not supposed to leak out what both of you talked about. Talking about fasting. You have to fast from sunrise to sunset. In Indonesia and those countries near the equator, muslims fast about 14 hours per day. But in countries nearer to the northpole, like Norway , muslims fast about 18 hours per day.

How does fasting during daylight hours do any good? Can someone please explain? I went vegan, because it spares animals cruelty and confinement. It is also easier on the Earth. That makes sense to me.
For Muslims - the idea of fasting isn't to feel the hardship of poor people (although that's what most Muslims would say). It is more about piety(feeling God is watching you).
In terms of health, it is very alike intermittent fasting where you eat in about 12 hour cycles. Islam likely has a practical principle regarding meat consumption where you at least eat it once a year and share it with the poor during Eid Al adha (commemorating Abraham's sacrifice of a Goat in place of Ismael/Isaac depending on who you ask). And meat has its own benefits when consumed in very small quantities.
However meat consumption among Muslims has moved away from being once a year to -likely- everyday for the common person due to the mass production of meat from CAFOs we have today - so health benefits might be cancelled off in that perspective.
Some scholars I listen to talk about the "halal bubble" where Muslims are in fact not living the same diet as their forefathers. And the halal diet has now instead become a million dollar industry of certifying slaughter meat to meet the demands of meat-loving Muslims.
Meat consumption is a sensitive and disheartening subject for me as
mainstream Islam never tries to consistently push this narrative of "we shouldn't eat meat daily" -Halal industry is a money making machine that some Muslims make their livelihood and economy out of. Even non religious countries are doing it to capture the Muslim market. So bringing a minimizing of meat revolution is not of best interest for anyone involved

Now the meaning changed from a "reality" which happened to one Optical Illusion, which took place in the head of Dhuul the two-horned ruler.
Here one can observe the corruption of the Koranic text. It is no longer one „literal“ event Allaah is talking about which was observed by Dhuul.

Why do people have to find a religion to belong to when they realize a problem in their current religion. Why can't they realize that the real problem is religion in general. All religions are man made clubs. If you believe in god for some reason that I can get, then just do so, and you don't need a rule book. Live your life and find friends who respect others for what is in their heart, not for what rule book they follow. But islam and christianity only create aggression. Just look at the craziness in the world based on the 2 main religions. Religions like Buddhism, makes sense because it encourages meditation and to find yourself within yourself.
Do NOT GET AGGRESSIVE and I suggest you focus on your own beliefs. You can't justify anything based on how stupid others are. The problem with Islam is Islam, not the believers. They are controlled by their fears and being unwilling to read their holy scriptures. They just believe and don't want to question anything.
