I have the H3000 model for mowing with more challenging obstacles, I can say that it works perfectly, very satisfied. My terrain is mostly flat with no inclines. So far no problems with the mower very satisfied.
Thanks for providing some feedback. We can't say that it works perfectly, but we are also very satisfied so far. We have it mowing in a yard with quite a few inclines, and it seems to be doing very well. We would definitely benefit in the larger battery of the H3000.
Cool but can you turn off the come steal me lights? Bought a Landroid last fall. It keeps my 1/8 acre backyard up pretty well. Mows 2X per day for about 5 hrs total. Only thing I had to do was add studs to the tires. In low traction turn around areas it digging up the grass. I paid about $1000 for everything but it was definitely worth it.
Any way to disable the lighting? I only mow at night with my robots to keep from drawing attention but that bright beacon light is begging to be stolen, Way too noticeable.
Can the robot cross a defined path like a driveway to access cutting areas that are not contiguous? I haven't been able to find any explicit mention by Segway, but it seems that others like the Ecovacs Goat G1 and maybe the Landroid Vision support this function
Yes, we have front and rear lawns and use a concrete path as an access corridor. Apparently software updates will allow you to lift the mower from/to different areas if you cannot achieve access corridors but yet to be released.
Thinking about getting one of these and selling my worx Landroid! How did you get one early? And if we buy on indego are we guaranteed to get one? Thanks
@anders værås they are shipping to US this month. Probably will not arrive at my house until July. Multiple zones is supposed to be available by the fall
AWESOME VIDEO. I hope this is not the USA version. 60mm or 2.5 inches is way too short for most lawns in the states and will prevent myself and many others from buying this mower. I had a Husqvarna automower 450x and always hated that it couldn't cut higher than 2.5 inches. once I got the 450xh and began cutting at 3.5 inches what a difference it made. my lawn was being scalped at 2.5 inches here in southern ohio. crap I was hoping to review one of these.
15cm from the edge plus some cm from the edge of the mower to the blades, that's close to 20cm in total left uncut at the edges, quite much. Couldn't they place the blades closer to the edge and maybe shrink the distance to 5cm? It has a precision of 2cm I think so 5cm is more than double in margin
I’m tired of my old push mower, and these smart mowers are getting so popular! 👀 I found one called ANTHBOT for $599 with auto mapping. Could you maybe review it? Would really help!
I was also very enthusiastic about all the promises and did the foolish thing of purchasing it. But I can only strongly advise against it! The money is thrown out the window! Not only is the weight distribution catastrophic, it also causes the wheels to spin on the smallest of slopes and destroys the lawn in the process. Exact cutting on lawn edge stones is impossible, as the much too small front wheels can also get caught on these and spinning wheels again damage the lawn and on the other hand lead to the robot messing up RTK and no longer knowing where it is when the GPS signal is too weak.
That's pretty cool. can you give a rough estimate of it speed. If the area mapped out is big. And the mower battery is low. Will it return to dock. And recharge. Then finish cutting. Or would it just run til the battery is dead in the field. I'm thinking it has to have a amp hour to square feet or square yard. Estimate. Wish it was cheaper. The need to make a fence line strip trimmer next.😁😁😁
This is the H1500 which is supposed to cut 1500m2 or .37 acres. They also have an H3000 which covers about double that. It does have a safety built in that sends the mower back to the charger before it completely dies.
I have been using robotic mowers to cut my lawn for about 15 years, so the technology has been her for decades, just not in the USA. These new wireless units from Segway and Husqvarna have now improved on that tech. Between all my used and new purchases and sales to the Husqvarna I have now I have probably spent a total of $3000 to $3500. So, I have not paid for any gas or had to go get cans of gas and have spent zero time mowing in 15 years. I have had to do minor maintenance here and there but significantly less time than a gas powered mower would need. Now, if only they could come up with a way to do all the edging for me LOL. That being said, the discount makes it a bargain, but I am still not willing to pay that kind of money for something I might not get. I'll pay full price for it when I can get it without the wait/risk.
but not thinks i pay 2-3000dollars for it. NO way a Radar house hold vacume cleaner cost abound 2-300dollars, and that is NOT 50dollars more expensive to produce a Robot lawnmover. its simply stupied
I bought this with high expectations, but tried for hours to get the GPS signal strong enough to map my yard, with no luck. The VSLAM feature is more marketing hype than actual functionality.

a lawnmower cutting a grassless field, amazing!
Great review! 👏
wow the lawn edge looked great
Great video can’t wait to see more! Just ordered one today and can’t wait to get it! Thanks for the future updates!
How do you like it?
@@Johnson-z2i
Haven’t got it out yet! It came late last year and didn’t try it so once this winter ends I’ll get it out.
Appreciate the review! I’m on the hunt for a more budget-friendly robot mower.
Slightly off topic - what is the make and model of that green and black measuring tape you use?
where did you get your tool bench setup?

There is a light setting item in the App's Settings
Great job on this review! Do you have any suggestions for smart mowers that are a bit more wallet-friendly? Would love to know!

I've seen these before but they use a guide wire you had to install, this system seems far superior, very cool.
You are correct. We reviewed one years ago and you had to bury the perimeter wire in the yard. A real pain. Thanks for watching.
Will this thing work in rural areas without cell service and moderate tree coverage do you think?
it works best in rural settings!! It uses GPS signal
Where the cut grass goes?
Does this machine cut grass on a 30 degree hill?
Ordered one today. Can i do multiple maps so i can do backyard one day and front the next?
Did you get it? Can it take different zones?

This app isn't available in my region...
Appreciate the review! 🙏 The price is a bit steep for me right now... I’ll probably wait and see.

Whats it like when it comes up against a mole hill or dog poo?
Chihuahua, no problem; Great Dane, problem. Lol. Small stuff, it's not a big deal. The larger stuff, the VisionFence should recognize and go around.
Solid review! Though I gotta say, it’s a bit above my budget right now. 😅

@@Shoptoolreviews thanks it's a cool machine. Would be nice for seniors. 👍👍👍
2.5" max mow height is way to low for a healthy lawn in the summer.
I think we'll have many disagree with this. You definitely should be careful and keep an eye on what's going on, but this lawn is very healthy.
i usually leave the hight at 3-3.5 during summer.
MOW NOW..ignores, goes back to sleep.
Damn kids.
That's pretty funny...and true. Thanks for watching.
I’ve contacted Segway numerous times attempting to purchase. Always some excuse is given why they cannot sell. It’s a total joke.
Overpriced limited features technology isn't there yet.
In 5 or 10 years will get much cheaper, prices and all the bugs fixed and much more refined. I don't want to be the tester.
a electric push mower is now 800..... Pricing pretty awesome for what you get compared to the other robotic mowers on the market!

Sounds like a great idea .. until it goes into zombie mode .. what then ..?
That's when the AI robot dogs come and attack it. lol. Thanks for watching.
@@Shoptoolreviews I have Ego OPE and I now kinda enjoy the mow
What would you do when a mow crew goes into zombie mode? Probably the same thing 😂
Thanks for the info. Cut down the use of the word actually! It takes away from the message.

The Luba looks much better.
I’ll stick with my Husqvarna 450 EPOS. They have been making robotic mowers since 1997…
Might be a solid model but is a lot more expensive as well.
Nokia was also selling mobile phones before....
