Kaemon N there are one or two I've seen where the batteries are accessible with the body on. but not many.
I forgot to put the pins in on the battery holder on my old traxxas and when I turned the battery skid straight down the drive way and suffered a lot of damage. Rip 2013-2013

For Christmas 2017 I bought my son the WLToy Vortex from Amazon.co.uk and it comes with a standard UK plug. PS this RC car is real good value for money and super fast.
I am just Finding out about these rc cars. I bought my 9 year old a traxxas rustler. he told me the rc cars at Walmart where boring. I spent $200 and sum change for it and it was worth. we fight over the car lol

I had a $1,000 Kyosho mini cooper, that went 50kph. It ran on methane, had an exaust, and you start it up with a pullstart like a lawnmower. A grand for a R/C , most secondhand real cars can be cheaper than that now.

Good video man. You can"t beat the price for $60 for a 1/18 buggy it has lots of up grades for this car. I love my Traxxas trucks. I have a Jato it goes 65mph. I bought it $400 and my T-MAXX $600 and there gas some people do not have $400 or $600 for RC cars. I wish I had this car when I was a kid. I have been in RC for 15 years and time has changed I been studying this car for a week now. I will buy this A959 B. Traxxas do not sale a 1/18 scale buggy for $60 it perfect for beginners get into the hobby. But what would happen if you put it in a pro racer hands?

Michael Valencis how could they possibly choose to use body clips!!!!! flexing this flimsy cover to reach in and turn it on is way to advanced and difficult. so I will remove the dastardly body clips that no one else's uses.... two of them is way to much.

a 40-50mph RC car for under $60 without mods it's pretty great, plus it's faster in real life, I have a few with all metal parts and they rip and haul ass, I love the little thing

That thing is not even fast. I've got a Traxxas Jato 3.3 but I've basically made it to a completely new car by changing out everything so that it's an electric car. I manage to go just over 100 km/h with it.

But I had it for a long time and the engine was starting to wear out, and it would have pretty much been as expensive to get a new engine (plus all the fuel which costs a crap ton) as changing it to electric. So I figured I'd do the change to have something different and to also not have to pay for fuel.

I have a HPI mini recon, it was set up really great right out of the box, and surprisingly fast too. Its super durable, and you could get parts/upgrades (I don't know about now though). It was $99 when I got it years ago. I would save the extra to buy something similar if possible (from a hobby grade rc company). I'm sure HPI, Traxxas, Losi, etc. makes something you will like. Yes this car is cheaper, but you can immediately tell it is, even before you plug the battery in. I would look on Tower hobbies and Horizon hobbies under 1:18 scale to see what's out there... just a suggestion.

Quincy Lewis an XO1 is 1:7 scale. this thing is less than half that size. It's pretty fast for $60 but I've had 1:18 scale cars that were faster out of the box... xray 18, ae apex mini, I think my 1:24 losi rally on 3s will beat it

i own this little rc car, also own the vortec B. both are very fast cars. need an wide open space to run the full speed. not waterproof, found out after running it on a damp surface. Lots of fun, get a second battery.

kokonutfreaks yes but 150 is a little too high unless you are using rotary. an xo1 motor in a ktosho gte inferno with as close of a 1/1 ratio of gear I by as possible barely hits 120.
And that's about $1500 right there

If you trim it it will drive straight. Actually this is spec'd for 45 kph. Have the rally version and it is very fast for it's size, price, and having only a brushed motor.
